I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 14.3%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an advisor.

@@carolynrose1816You're right, I and a few Neighbors in Bel-Air Area work with an advisor who prefers we DCA across other prospective sectors. Instead of a lump sum purchase, Following this, my portfolio grew 35% in the last quarter.

I have 850k in equity, 275 cash earning 5.25 interest, 685k in 401k, 120k cash account, 80k in car assets ( paid off cars) Gold and silver bars. age is 48. My advisor helped me realign my portfolio to my risk tolerance and it boomed within a short period.

Agreed, opting for financial advise is the best way to go about the market right now. I average 4 figures/month in dividends, but my overall ROI just hit $550k. I only have 30 or so stocks (20%) of my portfolio with more of my investments in digital assets.

@ClivesEnglishCorner It is very impressive! I always like to compare returns to the s and p 500. Most people will not beat s and p, especially over multiple years. The ones that do likely all their eggs are in one basket and take alot of risk unless they research the heck out of the business. I would guess it's 3 years and change this portfolio, so that gives a bit under a 20% annual return while s and p did 40-45% comparably. That is very impressive! The balance between having diversified so as not having all eggs in one basket but not too diversified that you can't beat the s and p 500 is a challenge. Allocation for top 3 or 4 have to be about 50% of the portfolio. Done right here I would like to see moving on how this will play out.

I kind of interpret many post on here as acknowledging that we're reaching a market peak, in general, which is a well-supported thesis, and so if you've been sitting back chill while the gains roll in because bull market, well, time for traders to stay sharp, many are expecting volatility, probably a sharp downturn, smart traders should check their risk management is in shape, time to pay attention. The timing of his post vs what I know about the market supports that well enough. But yeah, the post could mean anything.....managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Sandy Barclays, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Hi I have a question that I have difficulty with myself. I am confused on how you calculate the percentages of your holdings. This video does not include how much cash you may have sitting on the side which I believe is important to understanding your risk profile. With my own investing. I find it difficult to understand how much cash I should keep on the side. Please let me know if you have rebalanced numbers that include cash reserve.

Hello Jimmy Excellent contents. Thanks for sharing. Your portfolio looks amazing. Luv all the quality companies like Meta, Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc. These are the companies that one can sleep well at night. I don't own any company that belong to the Chinese, and they are also belong to the CCP one way or other. For that, I am out. I don't own BABA, no Chinese for me. I also own 1% of CVS (+Aetna). I am planning to increase CVS with another 2%, a total of 3% in the portfolio. I believe they have a lot of potential in the long run due to their strong MOAT. Plus, for the coming decade, there will be many more people in need of health insurance.

Jimmy, I have 2 questions: 1. I remember you invested in Intel many years ago at an average price of $50 or so. How did you bring the buy price down to $37 now? 2. About the stocks you have lower % of your portfolio, they are in lower % because they lose money. I don't think it's fair for you to say:" it's only represent 2% of my portfolio, so I am not too worried about it." They could be a lot higher %, if you were making money on them.

You cannot say BABA is undervalued. You're essentially testing whether DCF works on valuing Chinese companies in real-time and thus far the results do not look good. All modern valuation theory, including DCF, is based on open markets with little government intervention. China is neither.

Buh ... no good qualitative portfolio. I think you cannot show a great return in the last 10 years, the stocks are "value" with risk. so I wont follow you in any way. Your portfolio is just lucky, that Big Tech is in it, but this would be covered with an ETF as well.
