Mình là người Hàn Quốc mà sống ở Sài Gòn được 1 năm rưỡi rồi nè. Dù sao thì mình đã từng học tiếng việt bằng kênh này nên giờ năng lực tiếng việt của mình hay quá so với hơn lần đầu tiên mình mới bắt đầu học tiếng việt. Mình rất là cảm ơn và muốn nói là mình đang ủng hộ tất cả mọi người xuất hiện kênh này nè♡

Learning Vietnamese is easier for me after learning some Korean because there are quite a few similarities, eg. 한국 Hàn Quốc, 남 아프리카 Nam Phi, 음악 âm nhạc, 충국 사람 người Trung Quốc, 학생 học sinh, 미국 사람 Người Mỹ.

Thank you for your comment, EasyDev! The speaker in the video does indeed have a Southern Vietnamese accent, which is commonly heard in Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding regions. It's important to note that there are also other regional accents in Vietnam, such as the Northern and Central accents, which may sound slightly different. However, learning the basics of Vietnamese pronunciation and accent can greatly improve your language skills and help you communicate effectively with native speakers. Keep practicing and you'll soon be speaking like a native!

I'm vietnamese too , but i only speak english , but i can translate in english. I can understand vietnamese but translate in english also nuóc to me sounds like water in vietnamese am i right that nuoc also means water

“Nước” means “water,” but it can also mean “country” depending on the context. Ex: Em uống nước (I drink water) and em qua Nước Việt Nam (I go to Viet Nam).

In this context, Thương said "Who knows if you're MIXED" ("lai" (no tone): mixed race, different from "lại" (dot tone)). Then Phương joked around "Em lai Mỹ Tho". She played between two proper names Mỹ (America) and Mỹ Tho (a city in Vietnam). Em lai Mỹ Tho, I'm mixed with Mỹ Tho, meaning I'm totally Vietnamese.
