To the person or people who struggle taking things from training directly into online, try it out against the cpu a few times, its less stressful and often simpler but it gets you ready to do it against a moving opponent.

Arcsys knows hackerman exists it's just that finding and fixing system vulnerabilities that hackers are abusing while they have already gotten into the system is hard.

You've gotta realize that everyone thinks that way, but when we're consistently making the same mistakes or playing like we're feral we've gotta look at things from other people's perspectives and not our own. I had to break the habit of doing HP Knuckle to try and continue pressure after eating a ton of DIs only after having it pointed out to me by someone I play a lot.

The less random slide you do, the more unexpected the next is. By doing less random slide, it becomes more effective.

It's a very high bar as Sajam mentioned. Some jumping normals have really dumb hitbox/hurtbox overlaps so a lot of anti air normals just won't beat them consistently. His examples of Ken and Luke are the most common because they're the most egregious among the top tiers.

Yeah that sounded like BS to me, even against a jump-in that has a particularly good hitbox, your anti-air should be able to beat it clean if you do it early enough. If even Luke, a character that has a DP, also has an extremely consistent anti-air with cr hp, I don't see why Kim shouldn't have one as well I hate Kimberly but I have to make a point for her this time lol, she deserves better

They force you to play neutral, where you find out a lot of her moves are stubby. RYU and the shotos are hard to get in if they're doing their checks If that happens play neutral. If you win a couple of times it doesn't take much to get them in the corner where Kim excels.

In some ways, it's disheartening to see someone master so many characters so quick... when my ass can't even reliably do basic BnBs for one character after 30hrs.

Nah keep going. Once you master 1 character the rest are easier 30 hours is nothing in a fighting game. Especially if you are new to the genre. 100 hours is when youll kind of get the foundation. Your watching streamers who were strong players since 5.

11:43 holy god, JUST BLOCK already. 1:09:32 Manon isn't a great example to use here, pros are dropping her left right and center atm. Strider says he'll keep her in his back pocket until they buff her and he's not wrong in doing so. What I found funny about this stretch of games, there was a discussion of "why does Sajam play against such bad players" right? Sajam followed that up by saying, "it's you, it's not them". This was followed by multiple discussions of Sajam asking "why are you playing this way?" after facing opponents playing like idiots and explaining that learning the game makes it more fun. Pretty ironic how that played out. Maybe that Twitch chat is on to something Mr. Jam. I mean you showed here, even when you beat them, it's still annoying to process the playstyle ya know?

People pick Kimberly cause she's a ninja. People pick ninja characters to do flashy shit. Special moves are flashy, so they only do unsafe flashy moves. Using braincells is never in the equation.

Meh, just keep at it and your Kim can probably beat his ass one day, you just gotta improve your gameplay one step at a time and it eventually amounts to something great Sajam has been playing FGs for a long time too, and once your core fundamentals are good enough you can get Master Rank with pretty much every character
