Another good way to get a hole clean all the way through is using a drimel and a small drill bit

great video! I'm not very experienced, but I would recommend reversing the snap so that the "tail" points behind you. It'll help prevent it catching and possibly opening while you walk.

Don't worry about the Gum haters... You don't need it with that veg tan. water, dye, finishing product, bees wax. All you need.

I like all of this except for 1 TINY detail... I would have cut the relief cut for the retaining strap on the other side of the button hole. The way Cl3ver cut it applies all the restraining stress on the cut and concentrates the force to the very tip of the cut. Cutting the relief on the other side would apply all the stress to the rounded portion of the hole and run parallel to the relief, reducing the stresses.

I am a blacksmith. My blades are beautiful, but my leatherworking still needs some tinkering to level up. My sheaths generally look a little... rustic, to be kind. The keep the blade reliably safe and at your side, but I will use the techniques you have here for my next one. I need a punch to get clean holes for my saddle stitches!

Highly suggest tokenole for edge burnishing. I used Gum trag for the longest time and thought Toke was overhyped but holy crap it’s a game changer! Also For reeealllll glossy edges (I usually make wallets and things like that) I sand up to 1k-1200 grit sand paper, burnishing between grits after 500, your edges will look like candy!

Don’t know if you were trying to get at this but a Kit is the name for a baby fox, so it is literally a Clever Kit, or Kit Cl3ver

Great work! Another awesome leather build. Love the blood red leather and the fox impression. It reminds me of the wildfire druids for some reason. Like a flaming fox familiar that is bound to the blade!

If you want to get a vertical stitch hole. you can use your drill press to create the holes.

It's like a Red Velvet Oreo of death until you made it look better. I really like the fox but maybe a wolf would be more appropriate for my channel. I may try this for my adjustable knife in the shop, I'm always losing that thing. Maybe next time punch on the front and back then use the one of them for the middle pattern. What am I say IDK $hit about leather. As always, top notch video.
