Thank you! No talking, no dumb generic KZfaq music, no intro thats makes me feel like I'm watching a wrestler walk down to the ring just straight to it. Good stuff!

+1 The sound of the Craftsman doing his work is the best sound! ...and the chirping of the birds outside was very cool as well!

This is the second time I've watched this, and I know the video is older. But this holster is very reminiscent of a game I played as a kid called Darkwatch. This is incredible work. It's gorgeous.

I would absolutely love to do fast draw out of a holster that looked like this. I am a photographer and would love to create some photos of these type of holsters for artwork as well. I have never seen any holster with this much creative flavor, and love the talent behind it. I like the way you think outside the box. How Do I find you on Etsy?

Well I have to admit that is the most unique and beautiful holster I have ever seen, and I have seen many. I thought the black hand made holster for my Colt 45 was beautiful, but the one you made here has mine beat all to hell! Excellent work my friend, your holster is the Corvette of holsters, I am jealous! Is there any chance you could make me one for a reasonable price?

So beautiful, so beautiful. Thank you for tips. I also have started to make cuffs, phone cases, etc... to my self and friends from leather and silver casting jewelry as a hobby in my older days. I also use a 3D printer for jewelry molds and templates for leather. If i may ask, with what software you modified the skull and how? I have had a little difficulty to success with that how to modify an *.STL file. I use Fusion360.

I like it ... a lot. But don't you "Form Fit" the gun to the holster?
@RoadAgentLeather
@RoadAgentLeather 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm not a fan of the wet-formed look. It's fine for modern guns with tactical kydex holsters, but it always looks weird (to me) when it's done in leather with traditional guns.

Great looking holster and technique. What is it you are crushing in the mortar and pestle then putting on thread?

Exactly. In a pinch, I've used charcoal from my fireplace. Anything to dirty up the thread and make it look old.

That spray is no good! It will eventually come loose! Use Barge cement! There is really a reason top leather workers use it. Your work is beautiful and very creative! Great job!
@RoadAgentLeather
@RoadAgentLeather 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The spray glue is primarily to hold everything together until it's all stitched. I wouldn't rely on it as the sole means of attaching.
@chrisnixon2179

That is the perfect application for that spray, faster and easier then barge, once it is stitched it will not come apart

I got my printer and can print out the skull but how did you get that like part to make it actually stay in the holster? Like that flat part that extends past the borders of the acrual skull. What settings did you use to get the printer to print that?
