I carried a skeletool every day for 10 years and then bought the free p2 the day it became available. I swapped the scissors and blade on the p2 so I can one hand open it left handed. I absolutely love the p2 but the government facility I work at just banned knives with a blade longer than 2.5 inches :( I guess I'll have to buy another skeletool..... My son lost my old one🤣 Thanks for the great review! I too agree that every multi tool should have scissors, the skeletool needs scissors!!

Love my Skeletool CX. I use a knife more than anything else but have occasionally used the screwdriver and pliers 😎

Hooks on belt loop and that is the best part for me. Keeps pockets free. Tool set is easy, not the very best but very, very handy easy carry.

I bought mine second hand, and well taken care of, on ebay a few years ago. I keep it clipped to a belt loop to whatever I'm wearing, The only exception is when I go to bed. I used to carry all types of multi tools on me but this is much lighter and has the most useful tools. If I need something else I can get a bigger multi tool, or just the right tool out of my truck. Never go in over your head.

THANKS for the video! To ME the blade is SUPER SHARP I LOVE IT!! My 20 something kids use to try to steal it from me. GREAT LEATHERMAN !!! Can't vouch for any others. Bought mine in JBB in Iraq at the BX many years ago.

We actually found an original PSD. Pretty incredible for its time. Holding one those is a bit like "time travel". We obviously did not hang on to it. The "Crunch" was even kinda cool...

Intuitive The 3 basic tools: 1) knife 2) pliers 3) screwdrivers In 5 ounces I'm in! And with Leatherman's warranty!

Has anyone noticed that the outer tip of the pliers is not symmetrical? One side is more beveled than the other. Does anyone know why?

It used to have a carbon fiber parts, the new looks just like aluminum

Yep, older models had CF on the scales. The latest versions are just black aluminum.

Almost perfect but that carabiner /bottle opener puts too much length on the tool and both are unnecessary

idk i like it cause beer sometimes comes in a bottle and it hurts when i try to use my teeth to open it

Ok. I'm probably the exception here, but I've owned a CX for many years along with a few other Leatherman tools such as the Sidekick & Squirt, and I find the CX rather underwhelming. It only has 3 tools that I would consider useful: knife, pliers & screwdriver. All the other "tools" are a bit average: a bottle opener, carabiner and a pocket clip. Can anybody explain to me why this tool is so well regarded? Is it the quality, the weight or just a cool tool? My CX is in fabulous condition as it gets little use.

I guess it depends what you need to do. Personally, I don’t have much use for a lot of the tools that come with much of the more full featured ones. Never really thought I would need a tiny pair of scissors or a file. On the other hand I use a screwdriver all the time and having a decently sized knife compared to other multi tools is great.
