This extraordinary mods can be attached for outdoor activities or bushcraft and can be used for leatherman wave charge surge al or alx. Just install
into clip.

so you can see where your tool is with poor light or easily find with flashlight, or keep it always in your hand and make sure you ar not gonna lose

very useful for traps, camping tent installation.. nailing.....don't worry you are not gonna damage your tool, and it is heavy

3 Emergency ferrocerium flint rod or fire starter magnesium rod.
you can make fire very easy, it is attached with glue gun,
so you can replace it easily once is death. Same thing with
diamond sharpener
4 diamond sharpener,
because you don't want to be
outdoor and realize your knife isn't sharp.

Too bad leatherman doesn't take customer feedback. Just look how many years it took them to put replaceable wire cutters on the wave, and that is just one example.

Мужик, ты сделал мой день! )) Очень оригинально, прочно и эргономично что нагрузка равномерно надеюсь ложится на корпус. Я даже не смог удержаться и подписался на тебя! К сожалению нет у меня возможность сделать такие вещи (хотя ОЧЕНЬ хочется). У тебя золотые руки и видно что ты занимаешься любимом делом. Этот чудо молоток и тот который пилкадержатель на подобье Surge - ВЫСШИЙ пилотаж. Такой подход наилучшее технические решение как доп-оборудовать Multi-Tool на все случай жизни! Ты меня вдохнул приобрести это чудо Multi-Tool, что после этого ролика твоего заказал себе в интернет магазине новенький Wave+ black, не помешало-бы такие решения, думал приобрести оригинал пилкадержатель от Surge и ставить в свой... Смотрю много ролики и советуюсь, говорят что не возможно оригинал установить, другие проблемы возникнуть как по толщине так и по длине. Конструктивно не подходят, проверено! По мимо всего этого, там еще входит зубец в корпус пилкодержателя для прочного удержания пилок, имею ввиду на новый Surge! Привет из Московской Области!

I would think adding a hammer like this would make it more heavier. Plus banging on the end like that over time is going to mess up your tool. Clean work and a great job.

I love it nice work. Would like one on my surge. I would rarely use it but it'd be nice to have in a for those times you really need it. I caught the outside edge of my hand hammering with a leatherman before and it hurt like crazy.

I'm surprised the epoxy held, probably should've made the entire block out of one piece of steel, or at least welded the clip in place. Otherwise, genius idea. Now do stuff for the Leatherman Surge. ;-)

👍 Thanks Tex Arcana That was the idea, but I do not have a welder. I tried to solder with tin, but the clip is stainless and it did not work. Anyway epoxy worked well so far.

Very clean finished product, definitely got a subscribe from me. Personally I.would have used a small recessed machine screw or two to affix the hammer face to the unit but I'm interested know if the epoxy holds up to the task of hammering. If not perhaps JB Weld?
