Ksenia is one of the most beautiful women on the planet with the voice of an angel

In 1981 I got a hold of a tape reel captioned “Black Russian” with three Russian names mentioned. For 20 years I didn’t who these guys were and no one could tell me. Eventually with the help of internet I found out that these 3 guys broke away from the iron curtain, moved to US in 1976 and signed with Motown Records. I truly enjoyed the track “Leave Me Now” and we decided to pay homage to these talented musicians. We thank Natasha (Shneider), Kapustin (RIP), Serge Kapustin, Vladimir Shneider (RIP) and Allee Willis (RIP) who wrote the lyrics

We have been way a long time for Ksenia to have her lead vocals to be heard. Ksenia never disappoints. Beautiful.

Why is Ksenia Buzina not the biggest female stars on the planet? Hypnotically beautiful. An amazing pianist. An amazing voice.

My husband is infatuated with this one of a kind woman. She was dealt the royal flush of talent and beauty. Sings with total passion her ability to make you leave your world if only for a moment and join hers is intoxicating.

Being an American, I’ve never heard of Black Russia or this song. I must say, it’s a beautifully haunting song and a sumptuous arrangement. Ksenia’s vocal quality is so rich, and her interpretation of this song’s theme is so moving. Thrilled to hear her sing lead, especially w lush strings. Bravo!

There is absolutely no question in my mind that Ksenia is a major talent. Fabulous control of her belting voice and some of the best diction I have ever heard from a vocalist. Only B. Streisand has better diction. Still, a fabulous endowment of vocal prowess! Leonid & Friends, the best rock/fusion band on the planet!

Oh my God! I'm not a big fan of remakes, but that song with Leonid & Friends really touched me. The most interesting thing is that despite being a cover, the band maintained the originality of the arrangements! It is identical to the arrangement of the original Black Russian Band.. I am in love with the performance and voice of Ksenia Buzina.

Y'know, there's so much to be said about this group of people and their leadership. From the lead vocalists to the instrumentalists to the engineers. This is what you get when *all* are pretty much at the top of their field. I love that they chose this song for Ksenia. It puts her extraordinary vocal range, timbre and interpretation on display so we can finally see how complete a singer and artiste she is. Leonid has so many gifts, but knowing which material to choose to expose the enormous raw talent, and then coax it from the individuals is extraordinary. I think that Leonid does as much or more even for this group of artists than George Martin did for the Beatles. What a great time to be alive and watch this gift bestowed on all of us.

I just listened to the original. The only difference is that this version is a little cleaner. Such a beautiful song brought back to life. This group of people are so incredibly talented. Leonid put together the best of all areas of music. To think that most of these people can't communicate very well in english, but can sing it better than 99% of us, it's just incredibe. I can't wait to see what they do next! They are a bright moment, in a dark year!

What a magnified lecture by L&F about that russian masterpiece which was broadcasted by Motown as being authentic black music. Even "Black Russian" being originally a Rock&roll band. Ksenia Buzina, by her time, is indeed one of biggest female singers currently around the whole world. Amazing music!

My College Radio WODU in Norfolk, Virginia, NATO' s Atlantic Command Headquarters city, in 1982-1983 played 1st Album Black Russian in its entirety many times. Our local Public Radio station Jazz programs played them, but even though a Motown record, none of the record stores, one of which even carried bootleg and official Soviet records, carried it. A lot of European records wound up in record bins courtesy of the sailors in the US Navy Atlantic Fleet and NATO. I had Black Russian album, transferred from a CART tape to reel-to-reel back in 1984, but lost track of it when I sold my Sansui player. More Black Russian covers, Leonid!

Such terrific people... Ksenia is indeed beautiful, and as beautiful inside when you speak with her. I started following L&F five years ago, right from their beginning here in the US. They love their music, their followers. They answer (when they get free moments) everyone who contacts them. Leonid told me early on, every Russian musician’s dream is to play before an American audience. It has been an amazing experience to speak to them and even some of their family members, to know them as people. They have the same wants as we do, to be free, be happy and be well. I saw them in concert twice Before the pandemic stopped their tours... they are just as amazing live.

I'm from Brazil and I first listened to the original Black Russian version of "Leave Me Now" thanks to Antena 1 FM (94,7 MHz) radio station in São Paulo, Brazil.

Hearing this beautiful woman and vocalist sing lead, is like finally opening a present that was given to me a year ago. Waiting and waiting sometimes not patiently to find what was inside. If the rest of this band is wondering what direction to go in, you all know now.

I fell in love with the song instantly, despite the fact that this is only my second time hearing it today. This is one of those I will have to revisit many times to take it all in. The band, orchestral musicians and backing vocals absolutely performed it like they owned it. The lovely Ksenia Buzina's lead vocals were breathtaking. What really strikes me about this video is Ksenia’s vocal range. I don’t recall hearing her sing continually at this low of a tone. It’s really outstanding! I first got into this band about four months ago when I saw her doing superstar on KZfaq as I was scrolling through different types of music in her immense beauty caught my eye and people argue with me that she doesn’t sound exactly like Karen Carpenter but I disagree I think you can’t really tell the difference between their voices. And also She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my whole life. She melts my heart and soul every time I see her on here and hear her voice. They are all fantastic musicians. I play guitar but these people are world-class musicians. When I see her in Pittsburgh on September 23 I’m bringing a dozen roses to give to her. She speaks eight languages and she was in Jason Bourne the Bourne identity as I looked her up on wiki. I’m gonna have to revisit that movie because I did see it before but didn’t realize it was her at the time all I could really just keep telling people when I show them this video as she’s the most beautiful woman I have ever seen especially when she’s doing September by earth wind and fire that yellow midriff shirt had to be made just for her because nobody else can rock that shirt like her! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
