Great stuff Charles, I started 35 years too late and then lost the end half inch off my left index finger, both things making life difficult ! Sounds great and hang in there :)

I recently moved out of Maine and I’m so far behind of keeping track of stuff I just discovered your comment when I was first starting to play in 2000 I went to a bluegrass festival up in Maine and I saw an elderly fiddler there that was missing two of his left hand fingers and he was amazing he had learn to improvise you would not believe the progress I have made since I made those videos I turn 63 right about the time that I made those videos and if somebody had told me then that a year from that point I would be twice as good as I was then I would’ve doubted them but that is just what has happened my ear is getting better my learning time is getting shorter I like to encourage people and I hope this encourages you to not give up trying I’m going to try to post some new videos in the near future to demonstrate my progress I’m on Facebook if you want to send a friend request I’m living in North Carolina now

I started playing violin at age 43 I’m now 63 , I don’t read music and I have a genetic tremor in my hands that complicates my playing ,especially making a recording! I love to play really cool tunes . I hope to make many more videos of tunes I’ve learned that you would never hear at your average session. I’ll work on putting on a smiley face ....LOL!!!!😺
