Bar/pub crawling while staying at Hampton Beach is so awesome. I make many day trips to NH/Maine combining it with my now and then stops at Drum Center.

Loved this! You mentioned Connecticut. I now live in S. Florida, too, but I spent most of my life in Connecticut. (44 years!) It is a beautiful state, and I'd like to recommend that you visit the town of Kent and Kent Falls. The Appalachian Trail goes through Kent, CT, and that is the only point in Connecticut that it goes through. I also recommend the only national park in Connecticut which is called, "Weir Farm, National Historic Site". It is quite beautiful and has an interesting history. There is a house in Guilford, CT which is the oldest stone house in New England, built in 1636. That is the Henry Whitfield House. I LOVE visiting that place. So interesting! I hope that someday you will be able to see one or more of these. Thank you for your interesting videos. Blessings to you and your wife.

Ocracoke island is lovely. Park your truck and just walk around the town if you get the chance. One of the few authentic places in the outer banks with a distinct subculture.

So nice once again to see my old stomping grounds. I Was born in Concord, used to live in Goffstown on the small lake that that river flows into that you saw from the parking lot, and lived in Manchester at Wall Street towers. And your right that water is cold, even in summer it rarely gets above 65 deg..

Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎵🎵🎸🎸🎸🍔🍔🍔, I'm so thrilled that you got to drive the NH Coast. It would have been even better with sunshine. I have traveled all of the East Coast hugging the Atlantic Ocean. That is going to be a SPECTACULAR drive. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel is 17 miles long across the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. I'm looking forward to seeing this footage. Awesome video my friend! Oh and btw I'm driving to Miami and Key West...Again!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The Merrimac river looked so calm when you were looking for sunrise. It gets extremely dangerous at times. It's been a few years since I stayed there. I was lucky once and got to see bioluminescence in the water near where you were walking. Sorry to see this concludes New England, but hope there will be wild horses on your trek south.

Stunning views of shoreline! The front beach mansions are amazing. Vacation homes or full time residents? Amazing how different and stunning these homes are! It’s not your flashy California mansions. Hey Robert, nice to ride shotgun with you in New Hampshire for awhile this morning. So many things to see, so little time! I know what you mean about feeling restless on a road trip. It's always a tough choice between sticking around and soaking up a place and wanting to head down the road to see something new. Seeing your east coast itinerary map it looks like you're driving through Atlantic City...I'm hoping you stop at Margate Beach to take a look at Lucy The Elephant, but I guess I'll have to wait to find out, eh? Funny, being a native Vermonter living in NC now, when I tell people I am from Vermont, they ask if that is part of the USA? They live a sheltered life. Having traveled to all 50 states and all the Canadian provinces I agree with you, time to hitch and see as much as possible.!

the beach state park is pretty decent to camp right near the border too. I like peteys summertime in rye good portions for the money. also beach plum in hampton is decent too browns is ok. breakfast hoatys is pretty good they also have a 50's looking diner in hampton. Down the street from the state park marie's has decent breakfast or around the corner in newburyport marsh view cafe

Next time you are in Manchester I highly recommend Fratellos restaurant. It's Italian food but also has some exceptional seafood dishes. It is one of the best in the area. We had my daughter's wedding reception there as they also have function halls. It's in the Millyard district.
