Totally agree!! MJ dropped 45 pts in the deciding game 6, on the road, in front of a super-hostile Utah crowd hoping and praying to finally win their 1st Title ever, against MJ too, and MJ having to carry his Bulls team that was aging fast and about to be broken up by Jerry Krause (GM), 6th Title on the line, and yet MJ still found a way to get the defensive stop which led to him scoring the final bucket of the game to win by 1....that's the definition of clutch, nerves of steel, ice water in his veins, poise under pressure, will to win, determination, fearlessness, and MJ doing G.O.A.T. things on the biggest stage once again!!

Jordan beat almost anyone one-on-one (and in the rare instance someone got the better of him, he almost always had a massive revenge game next time out). He beat traps, doubles, triples, and boomed on Hall of Fame centers (many of those he blocked too!). He was tenacious, never shied from the big moment, clutch, an impossibly deep bag of moves and counters, and he had the highest scoring average regular and postseason all while being a hellish raptor on defense, (DPOY, runner-up or in the top 5 multiple times, First Team All Defense 9 times). He NEVER gave up on plays, rested on D, took nights off. He was maniacal about winning, and it showed at every level--college, Olympics, NBA finals--undefeated. Plus his game was like magic, art, and insane athleticism all melded together. I've seen great players for decades and Jordan was hands down the best two-way player in history on top of a massive winner, which makes him the GOAT in my book.

FACTS!! MJ was and is the only player I've ever watched or seen play in the NBA that left me feeling breathless and exhausted because of his relentless drive to win at all cost attitude, his out of this world abilities, and his ability to score on anyone at anytime! The anticipation of what he was going to do at any time on the court kept us all on the edge of our seats......
@jeffsalyards9968
@jeffsalyards9968 Жыл бұрын
@@stevenaleman7454 That's what people who've only seen his highlights fail to appreciate--MJ made plays like this EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. He was fearless and knew he was going to run into at least two or three players on the way to the hoop (unless it was a breakaway after another steal!), the lane was clogged because of old school rules, contact was heavy, and he never once hesitated, relentlessly driving. Plus he was never satisfied and always improved his game--mastering every midrange shot, the post game, outstanding footwork, a thousand fakes, all on top of his massive natural gifts--the insane first step (that made plenty of other good players look really stupid), the amazing anticipation, the legendary hangtime and vert, huge hands, always being on balance even going a hundred miles an hour, the ability to adjust not only once but sometimes two or three times in the air. There has never been another player like him and I seriously doubt there ever will be again.

I watched Jordan play as a Teenager and adult. I love seeing your reaction. It's his drive to be better every year. He was motivated to get better. He motivated his teammates to get better. If you know anything about Organized Basketball, If a one player is constantly working it's going to draw his teammates to do more. The admiration for Jordan on the court was unbelievable. He Perfected his craft during his ERA and the NBA hasn't seen anything like it since. Jordan played with a Huge chip on his shoulder. That's what separates him from Everyone else.

You compare these dudes by imagining them playing in each others eras. MJ had it all. Lebron shoots 37% from outside of 3 feet and plays in a era where its easy to get to the bucket. His most taken shot every year is between 1 and 3 feet. Joradn shot 50% from middie and played in era where the paint was stocked with big men. You saw what westbrook did on the thunder. Jordan would average a triple double shooting 50% while being the best defender in the league. Thats exactyl what he did while playing pg in 89 for 24 games in a era where it was tougher to score, rebound because of the rules

I've been an NBA fan since the mid 1970's and coached youth basketball for years. 2 of my 3 sons played competitive basketball through high school here in North Carolina. My middle son even attended camps with Stephon Curry that his dad, Dell Curry, sponsored here in the Charlotte area. My personal top 3 are: 1. Michael Jordan, 2. Larry Bird, 3. Magic Johnson. After the top 3, it’s more debatable to me. I’ve seen everyone over the last 45+ years. IMO, these players had the best BALANCE of FG%, FT%, clutch play, great offense, great defense, makes teammates better, great team play, shares the ball, passing ability, finishing, coachable, high basketball IQ, finds a way to win, has all areas of the basic fundamentals down pat, seeks high % shots FIRST, knows where teammates are on the court at all times, able to score while being fouled, played against tougher competition, played against great defenses. Michael had 2 threepeats and won the championship 6 out of 8 seasons during the NBA’s Golden Era. No one today has ALL of these attributes. These 3 are the only players ever to not have any holes in their games at all. Not even Lebron can match this. He flops, gives up on defense ( a huge negative), no player can even be considered a GOAT is they don’t play strong defense, and has choked in too many key games. This past season, Lebron couldn’t even get the Lakers to the playoffs in one of the NBA’s weaker seasons. All of these negatives are glaring and brings down his value. To me, only Michael, Larry, and Magic had ALL of these attributes and are (by far) the most clutch and best players of all time. Consistently winning the close games is what separates icon players from everyone else. No players after my top 3 come close to doing it at the level they did. Though today's players have a lot of talent, most players lack most of these attributes and no one has all of them. Defense and team play are almost nonexistent today compared to the 80’s/90’s. Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson (by far) are the most clutch players of all time, did it against the best defenses of all time, and did it during the most talent rich era of all time (80’s/90’s). Because of the addiction to three pointer, lack of teamwork, and lack of defense the game of basketball is not nearly as exciting and interesting. It seems that many young people who do not understand the fundamental attributes of the game and haven’t seen players pre -2000 play night in and night out are the ones who claim that Lebron is the best. Older people who have seen decades of the best players know better. Anyway, overall, Great video.

This makes me feel so much better that someone else also watches every reaction to this vid lol ... If you weren't around in the nineties, you can't understand just what a worldwide cultural phenomenon Jordan was ... The fact that he still is a household name is a testament to how great he was (ie. His kicks ARE sneaker culture, every kid owns something Jordan, everyone's mum knows who Michael Jordan is, most have never heard of LeBron, etc) Btw, I am over dudes saying Chuck was smart for not jumping during that highlight...the modern bball trope of being afraid to attempt at rim blocks in case they wind up on IG irks me!! 😝 P.s. I dig your channel man and watch most of your vids ✌️

@@moro8926 I say this all the time 😂. I’m Swedish 🇸🇪. Everyone knows who Michael Jordan is, back then and now. But only those who’s into basketball knows who LeBron is. And we didn’t have commercials until the 90s something so it wasn’t bc of Gatorade (which isn’t sold here anyway) or McDonalds 😂. He was just a world known phenomenon bc of his game! I’m 47. I watched second half of his career. And because he, naturally 😂, doesn’t play anymore, these videos will have to do. I love watching people watching him! To be amazed. I was fortunate to have seen Mike a few times en vivo and the things my 20/20 vision witnessed were like nothing I had seen before or after him. Magic is my all-time favorite since I first saw him in 1979 but without hesitation I proclaim His Airness to be the GOAT. And I've seen prime Bron in person. He's a mere mortal compared to Black Jesus. In my opinion it's not even close. I agree 100% with Hakeem when they asked him who was better between Bron and MJ "It's an unfair comparison. It's mind blowing that we are at a point in history where people doubt Black Jesus is the G.O.A.T. Even if you never heard of or saw him play, the moment you see his highlights, games (which are on KZfaq) there is no way that you could think LBJ is better. He has none of that. He's great, but he ain't got none of that and HE knows it. It is said, when people tell you who they are, believe them." Well,that applies to what you see in these highlights. Believe it. If he can do everything (your words), how is he not the G.O.A.T? It's okay to admit that. It's reality. Greatest MJ reaction EVER. 👍🏿

Anybody who says Lebron is the greatest. Never saw MJ play. It's that simple. What he shows in this video. Was every minute of every damn game. Attack mode all the time.

That play where you asked "did he take off from the other block??" Is the play I was waiting for. You have to watch that play in a different video, from the different camera angles in slow motion to really see and appreciate what happened, and you just won't be able to handle it mentally. Maybe the greatest play in basketball history.

If MJ were playing in this day and age he would probably have a scoring average beyond 35 points. Send Lebron back to the time of MJ, Shaq and Malone and he would be just a normal follower behind these giants of basketball

The problem with the switch at 10:39 is that it’s always played in slow motion. Regular speed is so much faster it’s hard believe he made that decision so quickly.

At Least you say LeBron is "the goat", I disagree but when i hear lebron fans say he's "their/my" goat I see that as a tacit admission of mike is the goat.

It’s not about being enamored, it’s about understanding. As a Bad Boy Pistons fan, Jordan was Enemy #1 once we got past Bird and Magic. At the same I recognized the greatness of the players my guys were up against and how great MJ remained once he snatched the throne. And I’ve been watching the game since then, I just haven’t seen anyone with the combination of offensive and defensive skills, IQ, and intensity that MJ possessed on the court. Not to mention all the awards and accolades that Jordan earned in fewer seasons than guys like Kobe and LeBron.

All Time GOAT List: 1. Jordan 2. Everyone else Lebron is top 10, but not #1, not even Top 5. Bird >>>> lebron EDIT this in: Jordan wasn't just the GOAT, he was also the Most Entertaining player of ALL TIME!! NO ONE put on a Show like him!! It's fun watching those moves on tape, imagine watching them LIVE!!! I remember watching those games and after every dunk or reverse lay-up, or any of his Crazy moves, me and my cousin would call each other yelling "DID YOU SEE THAT!!!???" lol!! Those were the Glory days of the NBA!!

I have to say, I’ve gone on a lot of fanboys videos and roasted them with receipts. I’m from Chicago and saw both Michael’s and LeBron’s Entire careers. And there is NO comparison. We all know LeFlops weaknesses. Michael HAD NO WEAKNESSES! I did want to tell you I loved your reaction out of all the videos I’ve seen.

Whenever there's a few seconds left on the clock and your team is leading by 1 or 2 pts MJ is the last person on the planet you want to see on a free throw line. That's why you don't see them foul him, they just don't know what to do in those situations.

Those who think that LeBron is better than Michael Jordan. Then you don't seem to understand the NBA. No one has the same or better skills or talent than Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan's the G.O.A.T.
