The media has been doing what the media does. It lives off of blowing things up out of proportion and then feeding off of the controversy they helped create in the first place. If there's not a problem, they will create one so that they can report on it incessantly. That's how they secure viewership, attract sponsors, and make money. It's a business, not a public service. And let the buyer beware. Catlin is a talented and hard-nosed competitor. I guess Clark is the reason Las Vegas ,Chicago and others have increased their sales and revenue. There are a lot talented woman that have actually played and played well in the past. Clark is good but it doesn’t show in her record at this point and her team overall. I think there is some overhyping of the “jealousy “ discussions - what is there to be jealous about? Clark needs to come in and take bumps just like everyone before her. If she wants to make plays like the one she did with Carter’s teammate and then talk smack then be prepared for the repercussions Like my Gramma used to say “if you write that check you need to be able to cash it when the time comes”. She is not the only face of the WNBA. Give some credit to the other new players that are coming in. Also, thank you to the players that have paved the way.
