Chris Paul is the same age? That really puts LeBron's longevity in perspective. Holy smokes. Paul is still an amazing player(one of my favorite PG ever, even when he was at Wake Forest), but LeBron is still one of the better players in the league at 36+ yo. IMO, only Jordan was better at his age, with Kareem coming just behind them, but he was like 7'2" so...

@Mckylan
@Mckylan 4 жыл бұрын
Fullmetal the media gave him the name lol. I’ve seen a picture of him and it says “Prince James will he be king” then the next year they start calling him King James and “The Chosen One”. Lebron turned arguably the worst franchise around. Cavs only had 17 wins when they got him and just in his 2nd playoff push got to the finals. His first stint in Cleveland was never good enough due to him being so great early on and they couldn’t tank for a pick and the management was horrible. By the team he left for Miami he already was a 2x all defensive first team, 5x all NBA 1st team, 6x All Star ROTY, 2 MVPs a finals appearance and has all the youngest to records. And he was arguably the best player in the league by 2009 2010. plus what was Jordan the goat or king of between 1984-1990?

I'm from Ohio. Y'all just don't know the amount of hate ( from the usual suspects) LeBron reviewed in HS. The media looked for ANYTHING to twist into a bad act, and I personally heard the worst negative stereotypes and racist garbage spewed by the White crowds during games. People were literally praying for his downfall as a teen. These are the same folks you see today complaining about everything he says and does. The hate did not start with the Jordan comparisons. That's just a convenient way to mask the the fact that they've always hated Black males like him from day one.
