KD is the only guy here not among my favorites but I love his game as well. I saw it almost the same way Chris did. I don't think prime Magic is more athletic than current LeBron. Same for Bird and KD. In 2 on 2 this would be like the Williams sisters in doubles, total mismatch. I agree that Bird is as good a passer as LeBron too. KD would have to go hunt for them to win 5v5. I think it'd be close either way because Magic would control the flow and Bron would try to counter him.

Mentality is what separates the good from the great. That is why players see sports psychologists. Guys like Jordan, Magic, and Bird were obsessed with winning, losing on a single play felt like death to them, and that is why those 3 are in the top ten players ever. I think Bird would get in LeBron's head early with his legendary trash talk, Bird and Magic also have a deep connection, they went from bitter rivals from NCAA to the Dream Team and became good friends. And I think these things matter. You have to win the game mentally before you can win it physically. I wouldn't discount how important having a bond with your teammate and having an obsessed with winning mentality.

Besides that, Magic proved he could win a championship playing positions 1-5. He and Bird lack the athleticism of KD & Lebron but they make up for it with unblock-able shots & fundamentals. Scoring and passing wouldn't be Magic's problem, his defense would be the deciding factor.

Bron has a higher clutch shooting percentage than them, taken more clutch shots, and has had more games of sheer dominance in the post-season (game 6 vs celtics 2012, game 6 vs Celtics 2018, Game 5 versus Pistons 2007, Games 5-7 vs Warriors 2016, even game 1 vs Warriors 2018). @@sullyguy1235 I ain’t the biggest Steph fan, but I agree. Steph hits threes better than some guys make two pointers.....it’s virtually a layup for him. I’d take him in that scenario over anybody too.

I don’t see how one doesn’t possess those things when they’ve been to ten championship rounds in eighteen seasons, has four championships, and four finals mvps, along with four league mvps. That’s some serious hardware right there.

I remember when Magic came back in ‘96. I was too young to have seen his prime, and I remember thinking there’s no way this old dude from the ‘80s was going to hang with prime Grant Hill, prime Penny, Pippen, MJ, etc. I was wrong. Even though he was out of the league for 5 years and heavier, Magic was an all-star caliber player that year and put up some serious numbers. He mostly played the 4, but would bring the ball up sometimes too. Passing off the charts…made me appreciate and understand that just because the game evolves and new players join the league, it doesn’t mean the players are better than the past ones. They’re all a product of their era, and the greats would learn to be great in any era given a chance to acclimate.

He won a championship his first season and pretty much went through the west unchallenged except for a couple of hiccups had 5 rings by his 8th season man he was very very good

ENTER WILT. Makes me laugh when people compare Kareem to Wilt 'cuz of the team-related hardware (mvp's & championships); Wilt was so much better than Kareem in every category besides Free throw shooting, it's easy to see why he dominated him

I just realized there were two nba games yesterday and Spurs announced the news about LaMarcus yet undisputed refuses to talk about either of the two but would rather debate about Bron and KD vs Magic and Bird 😂. The media will try there hardest to not talk about someone other than LeBron than focus on the actual game of basketball

Undisputed rarely covers games like the the 2 yesterday. It’s either lebron or other elite teams but majority of the time it will just be a lebron based discussion. Sucks though I’d love to hear them talk about the Aldridge situation especially since the Spurs are skips team.

Yes because LeBron is the most popular player in the game now. Spurs has never been relevant because they are a small market city and the only time they were talked about is when you had Duncan and his boys dominating the league. It's how the media works

Jordan never beat a Bird team in the playoffs, he couldn’t beat a Magic or Bird team in their prime,these are facts, drafted in 1984, first Title in 1991,, he was absolutely phenomenal, but you can only judge players in their era, in his era one of the greatest, the GOAT, absolutely not, nobody is the GOAT, and anyone trying to give someone that title is just wrong, I watched Wilt, Kareem , the Big O, all great players ahead of their time, Jordan against George Gervinho in his first All Star game not even close,, just facts , loved watching Jordan also just some of the few I mentioned,, Jerry West, Walt Frazier, Charles Barkley, I can go on, but nobody is the GOAT

MJ, lottery team at best. Versus several All Stars on both of those teams who legitimately went on to be HOF. Their is a long list of great players in NBA history. Who did their thing in their perspective era. In order to be called the Goat you would’ve to put them all on the court at the same time in one era and then say if you think that you are the Goat then prove it. And that’s impossible.

You are calling it Magics team but Kareem is the best player of the Lakers. If MJ had a Kareem and Worthy, he would have won in his first season. The greatest thing for MJ is losing against the Pistons, Celts and Lakers . When he finally won, there is no turning back. You forgot MJ had to deal with Shaq, Mourning, Mutombo,...best era of the centers.
