Great comment! Unfortunately I've actually tried both options to no success... First I tried using a LED flasher relay however achieved a very slow blink, very slow, like the indicator just stayed on, slow... I then used a 6 ohm 25w load resistor as the oem relay calls for a 21w load from each of the front and rear indicators however this triggered the relay to make some sort of weird screaming noise and my lights to start going a bit crazy. I have now put the standard bulbs back in until I either buy Canbus LED bulbs or get the car on the road and road worthy, then I'll just deal with the hyper blink

@@DoublShed Very interesting. I haven't heard of those issues before. Good on you for trying both options though. I'd highly recommend you take a look at Auxito LED bulbs. I run their canbus LED's in my parkers, interiors, and brake/taillights. Cost effective, very consistent high quality and performance.
