My wife and I (mid 60s) only saw the original Iron Man when it first came out in 2008. Thought it was okay but for the following 13 years we never saw one Marvel movie. We were both like, oh my god, can we get something without all the effects and some good stories??? Just this past summer before our niece (a HUUUGE Marvel fan) left for college we said we'd binge all the movies with her. I can honestly say they are some of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen. When we got to Thor Ragnarok and this song came on I was pumped up like a teenager. Agreed one of the best uses of a song ever in a movie

I often wonder if the young women in that crowd who are now grandma's have ever had a conversation with their granddaughters that started something like this, "When I was young, girls acted like girls, prim and proper!" But the conversation in grandma's head went a little bit different, "I'm so thankful that there's no picture of me sitting on that dude's shoulder and flashing my boobs at that Zeppelin concert!" Lol
@mj95b2 жыл бұрын
I never say anything, but my husband always laughs hysterically because I was quite a hell-raiser and he lived through a few concerts with me. My granddaughters (16 & 13) found my stash of concert shirts and they were upset that they couldn't wear the shirts (I didn't realize how tiny I actually was!); I also wasn't going to give them to the girls in any case...

At least it is the most played on Classic Rock radio. However, if you want to try a less well known, but equally brilliant Led Zeppelin song, try "No Quarter". If you want to see a brilliant Led Zeppelin concert, check out the 1976 movie "The Song Remains the Same". It shows footage from 3 concerts at Madison Square Garden in 1973. It is an excellent movie.

This song is one where all of the band shows off their skills whether it is Robert Plant's screaming vocals, Jimmy Paige's masterful guitar, John Paul Jones on the bass or John Bonham giving that driving beat. One other thing is that it is one of the few non acoustic songs on Led Zeppelin III.

Watching you watch this reminds me when this song came on watching Thor Ragnarok at the theater, everybody's head started bobbing to the music.

BTW…great song. LOL This was the opening for the movie. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Back in the day every concert I saw was like this & arenas were sold out. I saw a couple of concerts at the L. A. Forum. Remember that? 😊
