Flawless because it's not flawless!! It's REAL! Passion, emotion, heart and soul put down by every member. A Page minor flub here and there, Bonzo's squeaky bass pedal, and some would say timing. Thing is take those things out, would lose something. Just like Gilmore taking out the feedback in the "Comfortably Numb" solo. Did another take ' perfectly' and it lost something. Went back to the original with feedback and it's the solo we love today. Proving inconsistencies and imperfection is what makes us Human, in music those aspects keep it real and give it feeling. Why computer generated music has no soul and will never produce a true classic a person feels down to their toes. Flawless it is!!

This song, this whole album, really, is epic! I became a musician, and studied music, because of bands like Led Zeppelin. I think watching you do all these Zeppelin reactions, and seeing you develop a true passion for this band, has made me realize what I got into music for, in the first place! How I felt, as a young kid, with long hair, just jamming to Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Cream, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers Band, and many more. That is what made me fall in love with the Blues, and later, classic and modern Jazz and Funk! Rock and Metal came a little later on, in my teens, but I never started far from the blues! This band sealed it for me! Thanks, Biz, for taking me back to that place again! What you do matters to old head audiophiles like me! Music is where it’s at!!

Most reactors listen to the '73 live version, which I think is one of the best performances ever, but then listening to the studio version is like, "OMG Zeppelin was such a great band!" And this studio version of Since I've Been Loving You is one of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs of all time!!! Just the raw emotion and passion in Robert Plant's voice every time he screams is enough to send chills and goosebumps!!! The white version is okay but I always go to the studio version of this particular song it is in my opinion one of the top three songs that Led Zeppelin ever recorded!!!!

@@relayer43 #1 answer on Lyrics Interpretations...Page is referring to a serious committed relation like marriage etc and the line 'working from 7 to 11 every night' actually refers to the time he spends with his lover/wife arguing or possibly fighting. He is frustrated with the recurring fights and the misunderstandings etc and the continuous mind torture he receives from her end. On a very basic level the song is portraying how a man goes through a failed relationship/marriage and how he deals with it. As I said. Another good hint might be that there is absolutely zero other mention of a job in the song. It’s about his relationship. Working from 7 to 11 EVERY NIGHT. The answer is staring you in the face.

Blues in C minor 12/8 time. 4 sets of triplets. Amazing how many people can’t count the changes 1 triplet 2 triplet 3 triplet 4 triplet change Or 123 223 323 423 change The master of mixing major and minor - fully mastered the understanding of the tritone flat 7, maj/min 3 relationship between the 1/4/5 chords of a blues progression so for him to improv a blues solo is like you trying to sleep with your eyes closed

Right but the general consensus is he didn’t know what he was doing theoretically and that couldn’t be further from the truth That’s my point He just got lucky knowing where to take progressions and where the sweet notes not only were but how to blend them all He was a studio musician who played for other artists of all different gendered and styles for years He most likely has perfect pitch to have such an image understanding of intervals (perfect pitch doesn’t mean he can sing - it’s his ear not his voice). People think it’s just all white magic and prodigy powers
@scottwaszak698
@scottwaszak698 3 жыл бұрын
@@Samscoinsandheavymetal yes he had some knowledge of what he was doing theoretically; and, yes, he was a studio musician. But he would’ve been far more versed in other scales and such had he truly understood music theory as per say a far more advanced true studio musician like say Steve Lukather. Too, highly doubtful that he had perfect pitch; it has never come up in any interview with him, nor in any other tome pursuant to him; and it would’ve come up. Page was largely a pentatonic, blues, Dorian and Aeolian soloist; and likely happened upon most of it by dabbling around, and by using his great ears. He did do some studying with John Mcglothlin sometime around Physical Graffiti, and he did learn some new approaches to chords and such, which on can hear on that album. But truly musically schooled a la say a Steve Vai? No.
