Thanks for pulling the Led out yet again! 🙌🏼❤️. When it comes to Led Zep during their hiatus, live is more amazing ‘cause you get to see how well they jammed. As others just posted, there’s a couple of great live MOBY DICK performances. The 1970 Royal Albert Hall performance is incredible but at the same time, the live performance from The Song Remains The Same is so awesome because they show little recorded clips of Bohnham at home and doing things and hobbies that he loved and - I don’t know - it’s so very personable and I feel so lucky to see a glimpse of what the man enjoyed doing in relatively short life. Either one is fan - flipping - tastic. 🔥💎🔥💎🔥💎🔥LED Zep Week?!!! 😃. This will be fun! Thank you.✌🏼

Love this reaction! Just to answer your question, when it sounds like Bonzo's playing bongos...you're not gonna believe this...he's actually playing his drum set with his bare hands (when I learned how to play drums, I actually figured out how to do that, just because I wanted to figure out all of Bonzo's tricks). You really ought to check out the live version, it will blow your mind even more! There are a couple live films of this which are equally entertaining: there's the version from the movie "The Song Remains The Same" which alternates between shots of John Bonham playing in concert and candid shots of Bonham at home, hanging at the pub, riding his bike, driving his classic cars and racing cars on a track; or an earlier concert film which just shows Bonzo at work on his drums, up close and personal. #watchtheliveversion

Between Autumn 1968 to Autumn 1971 (only THREE damn years!), they recorded and put out their first FOUR albums. That blows my mind every time I try to put that into perspective. It took me three years to commit to a new living room color! lol But the same goes for so many other bands of that revolutionary music era. It must have been amazing to live in that time of bold experimentation!

Live version from the movie The Song Remains the Same. Will blow you away. Well the whole movie/concert is a must see. Hearing is one thing seeing is believing, watch Dazed and Confused live from MSG where Jimmy shows his creative genius and JPJ Carrie's the the bass line like you wouldn't believe. Then in No Quarter its Jonesy song to amaze you. This will be a movie you will watch over and over. Reliving a Led Zeppelin concert or seeing them live for the first time is a life changing experience. It will change the way you perceive music forever. You really see the best musicians putting their heart and soul into every thing they do. It truly is magical how it tune with each other these guys were. Everyone one of these guys were ment to be together. Without any one person it would not be the same. That is why when Bonzo passed in 1980 the band could no longer continue.Bonzo and Jimmy played off each other in a way that could never be replaced. Robert's vocal screams and moans to Jimmy's guitar could never be replaced. And Jonesy he was the glue that kept everything together a musical genius in his own right who doesn't receive the credit he deserves as a composer this is why this band at this time in music history (68-1980)forever influenced generations of musicians. Enough said.what is guy if you listen to interviews with page plant they didn't even know at the time just how special and good they were. They would just go out on stage and love what they do and have fun. Shows quickly started getting longer and longer. They would play by feel and take their music to totally new places. A 5 minute song live it became a 30 minute song. Their live shows were up to 3 hours long sometimes longer. You never what you were going to see, because every show would be different. The addlib and improvising throughout their live performances was the unique part of what led Zeppelin was all about. You don't get that from the studio recordings. This is why you will notice 2 different types of Zeppelin fans you have the studio fans that don't like the changing of the songs they love and can sing along with. Then there are the Led Heads who just can't get enough of their musical creativity like you see in their live shows
