Led Zeppelin, the official greatest band in history. Can't go wrong. Also, when talking about rock formats, Zep created most of them!

This was great! Jimmy Page is the lead guitar and producer. His approach was the instruments have to breathe. They recorded a lot of songs in big empty houses with close and distant microphones to get that BIG sound

Robert Plant, the lead singer, was saying “One More” near the end of the song where the music slows down. After the line “Way Down Inside” he’s saying “Woman, You Need, Looooooove”. When this song came out I was in my first year of college, driving my 67’ Pontiac GTO to school while playing Whole Lotta Love on my eight track tape player with a 60 Watt amplifier. THOSE were the DAYS!

Great reaction, if you love the way John Bonham mixes up them drums listen to Kashmir. If you want to see Jimmy Page play the hell out of that double neck, then Stairway to Heaven live at Madison Square Gardens And if its their Blues roots either Since I've Been Loving You live at MSG or When the Levee Breaks 😉

He not only played those timpani drums with regular drumsticks he also played with his hands. As one human being to another I would hope that you would listen to the entire 1st album from Led Zeppelin and keep in mind they were between 19 and 24 years old at the time. This song has been my favorite (tied with Since I've Been Loving You) since I was 5 years old 41 years ago.... it will be popular for generations to follow.

You wanna hear John Bonham with MASSIVE sound, check out "When The Levee Breaks." It wasn't special effects, merely location. John Bonham was a pure, unadulterated beast on the drums. He was skilled as all get out, but he was also the first drummer to come out banging the drums with that style.

The isolated drum track to this song is so cool; you can actually hear Bonham yelling as he is hitting the triplets. Now do Led Zeppelin Fool In The Rain.

"Fool in the Rain" is what I was trying to remember. Bonham holding two different tempos at once. Man was a BEAST.

Yeeeeesssss Mike, I've always said, back in the day you HAD TO HAVE TALENT to be able to be up on a stage. Unlike a lot of today (not all) you've either just got to look the part or know someone on the inside to get ya in. Fakery will handle the rest.

Dude, you stopped one of the best ever guitar solos to tell a corny joke? People can see when reactors are in it for the music or in it for the celebrity and just want to be a youtuber. Nobody would otherwise think of interrupting one of the best guitar riffs ever.
