I hope you consider making a "how to wire up and program your LEDs" video. You make very high quality content, its concise, easy to follow, and very interesting. I hope you keep at it, and your channel keeps growing :D

You can use WLED for digital LEDs without any coding skill (WS2812B strip) + a cheap and small version of ESP32 + a 330 ohm resistor It would have a USB connector able to power the microchip + up to 60 full white LEDs with one power cable (using 5v pin) ; It would be handy to connect to most 1A powerbank

Seriously needed this rundown - there are so many products out there and it’s hard to figure out what to look for! This broke it down really well, and I really appreciate it! Also look at this absolute giga-Chad over here linking like a million products for both UK and US viewers… Thank you for your service, sir. I have a costume project using LEDs that I desperately want to get started on before I lose motivation, but I was having trouble finding cheap LEDs that weren’t also garbage. You must be the best Mercy cosplayer ever because you’re my savior. 🥹

I'm looking to incorporate RGB LED strips into a cosplay, however I require that specific colour for 3 separate pieces. Would I need multiple LED output jacks? Or is it possible to set the colour, and then remove it to set the colour on another separate piece? Sorry if that didn't make sense haha

If you need to have 3 separate parts - you will need 3 controllers- if you wanna have a single controller you'll need to connect the parts somehow :)

hi so i have a few questions as to what leds i will need to buy for a cosplay im working on. im currently building kaneki's kagune from tokyo ghoul and i wanted to put some red lighting in it to make it look like the his kagune when its active in the anime it almost looks like there are veins of light threw the kagune that pulsate and i would love to acheive that effect but im still unsure as to what lights would be best. i dont need it to change colors or anything just red is fine but i would like to make it so it can pulaste. if you have any tips or know what would be best that would be greatly apreciated
@Zibartas
@Zibartas 4 жыл бұрын
Maybe consider using as dense LED strips as you can? Otherwise if you want something smooth and 'vein-like' looking, you might need to look into fiber optics or EL wire, for a more diffused, even look :) For pulsing you can get an off-the-shelf 12V RGB strip controller, it will have some basic animations built in, and they do not cost a lot!

What rgb of those are the brightest? Can you recommend? Money is not a problem, what are the brightest rgb led strips?
@Zibartas
@Zibartas 3 жыл бұрын
I think for the most part all of them are nearly equally bright, even comparing larger to smaller LEDs. Your best bet is to buy the densest (most LEDs per meter) strips - or looking for strips with multiple rows of LEDs (they look more like belts than strips cause theyre so wide lol)

Hey, i know I'm late to this video, but i started a project with digital led's and by calculation I'm going to need 40 amps just for my shield 😬. Now this is calculated at 100 luminosity and white light. Can i still use a 3,7v lipo with 4400mAh with a max output of 1A on lower settings or should I invest in some bigger li ion batteries? All of these with a 5v stepup of course
@Zibartas
@Zibartas Жыл бұрын
If you need 40A and you provide 1A, you're 39A short xD Even if you estimate HALF (20A), that's 19A short... :)
