Yes they are , I acted much as you did the first time I heard them, enough to run and buy everything they had from an importer on ebay. Her accent over the last 3 years (wow, 5 albums in 3 years, they are some hardworking rockers) has improved greatly. Even the first album you can understand well after getting use to her accent, which only sounds bad at first. Look up The Crusade, their ode to Iron Maiden's The Trooper.@@LEDsMoshPit

There are no passengers in this group. Powerful melodic singer with a seemingly limitless range, 2 guitarist that dual and harmonise with face-melting solos, and a drum and bass section , who are absolutely fearless in pushing this band to the limit with constant intense grooves to the very last beat of the song. What - The - Fuck ???????? Oh yeah, and they look hot while they are doing it. In - fucking - sane ! What is in the water in Japan .

This samurai scene makes sense. In the previous life (Japan's Warring States period), five comrades (“samurai warrior”) reincarnated in the present age, and now they meet their destiny as “metal warrior”. That is "when desitnies align". ~from japan~

Simply the best band to come out of Japan for many years. I like Band-Maid. I LOVE LOVEBITES! 😍 As you can hear, they're heavily influenced by Metallica, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Midori and Miyako are the best guitar attack I have heard in a long time. And the band made themselves more marketable in the West by singing in English. 1/ this isn't even their best song (it's a good one! but they have many better ones) 2/ they're as good live, as hard it is to believe 3/ each of their album (and EP) is highly recommanded . You were talking about Haruna, their pocket-size nuclear plant of a drummer - yes she's amazing (they all are!) and a medical mystery for me: she'll play like that a whole gig without any sign of weakness.

It’s kind of their quintessential song, half the songs very similar. But they also do early thrash, and a couple of chances to show off Asami’s voice’s Mariah Carey side, with extended piano intros live & such (Miyako, at 5’2” she’s the towering one, the riff writer and classical pianist on the Dimebagish V/X guitar). Btw, the shortest is Haruna on drums, 4’9”-4’10”, think she fits in my armpit, and I’m only 5’8”! Adorable!
