www.midwayusa.com/product/946... For this video I talk about the minimum powder charge that we will be working with. I highly suggest getting the Sierra Rifle and Pistol Load Data manual. God bless and thanks for watching. Highboy

The 41 primers are hard cup primers that have a slightly longer burn time. You don't really need them unless you are shooting extremely cold weather. Winchester and CCI small rifle are fine for all powders acceptable for .223 REM.

You are a good man, Highboy....I too am old school. I do the same things you do here to simplify and create the potential for 'NO CATASTROPHIC MISTAKES'. We are all going to make mistakes; we need to train ourselves to slow down and think, then move. Very good video. I think it was the proper amount of time for a new loader, with the proper emphasis on safety/load selection/technique. In my mind, one CANNOT have too much info on this subject. The trick is to be able to learn quickly, filter and do not retain what you do not need. God bless, keep em small. Julio

@@76Highboy oh, thank you very much sir! Glad to see people doing it and teaching it the right way. I don't know when I started loading, I would guess about 1984? You and I are within 3 months of each other in age by the way. Started on my first Dillon with an XL650 in about 91 when they first came out. Been loading on two of them ever since and I don't know, I've got four or five other presses but, when it comes to pumping out nines and 45 and 38 special 44 Magnum and special, I always go to the Dillon. Have had my presses down for 7 or 8 years now but getting ready to put everything back up after I get done finishing my two and a half inch thick white oak slabs that I will be using for loading tops in my living room area. I was just wondering if Most things that are on the 650 can be replaced by parts off the new 750? I understand the 650 was discontinued? Thanks for the videos, been watching all of them today!

@Magua136 Hmmm.... the 650 and 750 are kind of different creatures. The best reference is to go to the Dillon website and compare each machine from their online illustrations. Can you send me a message to groundzeroreloding@gmail.com

Best I found for my 223 and 308 is CLE 223. I’d like to give that TAC a try

Great info. I have questioned why the powders are listed in any particular order in the reloading manuals and that explains it. Thanks

I like how you tap the TAC container.

27.3 grains of tac with a 55 fmj hornady gets me 3250 from a 20" safely. Nobody but ramshot will list 5.56 pressure loads.

If i'm not mistaken, all load data fps is based on a 20" barell, so you not going to come close to those numbers out of you 16" AR. Great video

Is it temperature sensitive? I'm here in havasu and haven't met anyone to get any feedback using it. I always been a varget and benchmark guy in the .223/5.56 cartridges, but picked up a pound of that and BL/C2 to tinker with using the 55FMJs and 69HPBTs.
