For my loads I did the same and bought 1,000 rounds Starline brass. I was tired of the inconsistent results using recycled brass. This way I could establish a good baseline and it's worked out very well.

2nd for n133, it holds the 200yd benchrest record. N133 and 53 V-max is my go to prairie dog load.

If you have a 308 the tac works real nice in that good accuracy haven't chronograph it but well under inch groups consistently 168 Sierra match Lapua brass small rifle primer AR Federal 42.8 gr always liked your videos Logan real world 🌎

You're way low on your TAC loads and you're definitely over gassed. I would work up to Ramshots 556 data. I shoot 26.2 for my 55 gr pills in my 3 5.56s and .223. As with most ball powders, it really tightens up when you get to your rifles max. It's Very accurate. I also like H322. It does surprisingly great with 69 and 77 SMKs. Love the 7-08

Agree, he is way low on the TAC charge weights, and actually too high on the H-322. Would like to see him run it using published load data. Hodgdon lists 23.5 gr as Max for the .223 Rem with a 53 gr Sierra bullet, so both of his upper loads exceed it. Might explain the extractor and ejector marks on his brass. His max TAC load is below the starting load in Nosler’s data.

Too Funny. I just loaded (ladder) the same bullet with H332 using WSR primers for a Savage Model 12 w/ SS 26" BBL 1:9T. Hopefully I can get it out to the range next week. It loves the 62gr Federal Bonded Bear Claws using Varget (.454" consistently @100 yds). Great job on the video!

Good shooting. I enjoyed the video and will be happy to see more. 7-08 seems like a good little round even though I’ve never had one. A day at the range is always a good day.

Do you ever check case capacity between different brass with water? Can't wait to see the 7-08. Was thinking of picking up a 7-08 or 260 barrel for my savage 308

Great content - Wondering if you might be working up more 53g V-Max loads? I am starting to load these and was going to start with IMR 8208 XBR, Hope to see some more loads with this projectile.

I love the videos brother. Wanted to say when you said I'm using 4 tenth increments cause it's easier to read when you write on the case. I prefer to have a 50 round box and move let to right with the charge weights then always have a gap of course between the different powders being used. I do it this way and label them too because idk if it's just me but I can't stand writing on the damn cases, always looks like shit no matter what I do!😂

While S D’s are important for long range shooting, don’t lose sight of the fact that even with a large SD, the higher Tac load shot well. For short range work with the 53 grain VMAX that target is more important than that SD..

.... using 23.1grn of H322 behind a 69grn SMK in 1:9, 22" bolt and 1/3" @100 and SubMoA to 500 yards. I have N133 to try but 69grn might be too heavy to get the velocities over 2800?

Well, when I did load analysis on .223 with Varget I went with.2 grain increments and got my SD down to 3 with 69 gr TMK's. So I'm not so sure your rifle "likes" that load. .Also, I got with a bag or lead sled when doing analysis...removes me from the equation as much as possible on the groupings.

Work your own data, but 28.2 of 2000mr is awesome with 53 vmax in my guns!! H335 Isnt bad either, followed by benchmark. Ive got 50's & 53's loaded up for pfogs in 2 weeks! 2000mr is also awesome in my valkyries with 50's & 53's. Power pro varmint is better but havent seen that powder in well over a year!!??

Great content. Me personally i cant stand ramshot tac, i had horrible luck with it it goes from mild to wild way to easily. Also had good groups with the ,53 vmax but it did not perform as well on coyotes as a 50 grain vmax did. Id take the 50s over the 53s any day inside of 500 yards. Maybe even further.

Haven’t tried H-322 yet, but have had excellent results with TAC. The problem here is that his ladder with TAC didn’t even get up to Nosler’s START charge for TAC with 50 to 53 gr bullets. Ball powders generally are inconsistent at low charge weights. His H-322 loads, by the way, were over Hodgdon’s max for 53 gr bullets for his two higher charge weights. Might explain the pressure signs on his brass. If he is shooting a carbine length gas system, it probably is over gassed, to boot.

An auto powder measuring device is not reliable enough to do any testing, for accuracy. END OF DISCUSSION. might be ok for preliminary pressure testing, but that's it.

Not true at all but you do your thing. I have cross checked the scale many times and never had an off reading.

@@WestDesertShooter for truly accurate testing, you must confirm every single charge weight. Not just what the scale says after the initial pour. Spot checking is ok for yourself, but not adequate for load and testing results given to others. Quality testing is good, but not without quality assurance methods.

Haven’t loaded H-322, but can vouch for reliable charge weights with Ramshot TAC from my RCBS Uniflow powder measure. Charges are very consistent, as are most ball powders. Different story for extruded powders, which I do weigh each charge.

@twintwo1429 5 ай бұрын
@@charlesmay3673 there are many powder dispensers that are very accurate, once set for a charge of powder. Just need to verify every charge for sub moa accuracy testing. Otherwise you may chase your own tail trying to figure out a problem. Process of elimination, before the groups, not after.
