I had somehow totally missed your reply and it's been two years now so firstly, holy shit, time flies! Secondly, I affirmatively second your logical breakdown my bombastic reaction to the video which in hindsight was probably borne out a sugar rush or a drunken high of the moment. We'll have to agree to disagree. I believe it was postponed for a while but brought back due to public demand, so I guess you're in the minority of people. My Family is much more of a sitcom than Not Going Out is, although after Nick left it lost all humour and became the dullest thing. NGO is just a platform to riff a certain number of jokes a minute really, so to compare the two as sitcoms is a bit of a stretch.
