Im the same as you Joe and This is why im not too bothered if we don't go up this season, there is no way the amount of players leave in the summer that people think. The 49ers hold the cards and don't need to sell anyone they will not let any go unless its a silly amount and that aint happening. That plus more decent recruitment means we will be much stronger next season if anything.

Joe - Well scouted. Gus Hamer is a player that makes our team tick. I’d use him as an orthodox No.10 with goals, vision and excellent with the positions he takes up. Oh did I forget set pieces . Everything we’ve missed this season.

15mil for a champ signing Joe aint pocket change lol, prem hat still on. It would be amazing but lets see, I actually have faith in this ownership after last summers signings. To say we lost so many and yet recruited well enough to compete at the very top was great. Hope they keep replicating the signings aver the next few windows

I feel a bit sorry for Brendan, it was too much too soon. He is a late developer, needs to add more muscle mass so he can withstand the physicality of the EPL. Just my tuppenyworth…then again he is a professional footballer getting paid more in a week than a surgeon, so theres that. Gets silly doesn’t it.
