I remember, as a 14-or-so-year-old leaving the ground after fuck know's what game and walking back to the car park, and witnessing Molenaar signing several autographs and clearly saying "no more"........I waited until the crowd quickly dispersed and I approached.......he signed it with a smile on his face. I loved the Terminator then and will forever now. LEEDSLEEDSLEEDS.

At times he was unplayable. Would of loved to see him play under a manager like Sir Alex, speaking of which - may have never of signed Ronaldo if kewell signed for Man utd instead of liverpool.

Neil Ruddock didn't even attempt to go for the ball. Straight in on Kewell's legs. What was John Hartson complaining about.?. Some sending offs are justified, that certainly was.

My most vivid memory from that match was the felling of Kewell. Great to see it again! Funny seeing Ferdinand as a spectator in West Ham kit. Bowyer was a tremendous striker; shame he and Woodgate decided to go out on the fateful night. Oh, how that team could have prospered.

90s MOTD was the best with Des Lynam that Leeds team from 1998/2003 was class but they bought way to many players it was ridiculous and led to their Downfall I mean at one point you had Kewell Smith Bridges Keane Huckerby Fowler Viduka as striker options that’s 7 top strikers at the back Kelly mills Radabe matteo woodgate Ferdinand duberry Harte any of those defenders could walk into a top 4 team at that time in midfield bowyer batty hopkin dacourt Wilcox haaland bakke Johnson etc it was way to big a squad of top players on big wages they could put 3 different teams out Leeds on a Saturday they were very exiting to watch and it was sad to see them go down I’m an Arsenal fan myself I just couldn’t understand the need to buy all those players in them 4/5 years they were competing up the top

In the Sponsor boards at the side of the pitch there are signs saying things like England 2006, do you know why they are there?
@LarsBosteen3 жыл бұрын
Presumably related to England's (failed) bid to host the 2006 World Cup. 'Campaigning' was going on at the time, and I think the final decision was made in July 2000.
