If we stay down I'd give Byram a new deal. Not to be a starter but he's useful squad option. Covers both right and left full back, experience and won't complain at a lack of minutes. I'd still want a new right back.

I am series when I say, am not worried about any player leaving. Players come and go all the time. It's time we let the old guard go and move on. Also any high demand players like Summerville, at the right price we should let them go to, if you want to. Farke needs to build his own team now.

They'll be cheaper to buy if we don't go up so whoever buys can offer higher wages a big incentive to down tools for players who are not dedicated to Leeds. There are not many loyal club players left in football.

With new owners and manager, a reset could create a balanced squad that will do a job, hopefully in the Prem and get the unwanted loan players moved out. Unless we score early, this group I don't think have the calm to remain technically skilled under playoff pressure. But I'm strangely hopeful we can maybe just do it.

I get the need for "safe bets" last summer, but we need to start looking at Europe for permanent transfers and use the domestic market mostly for loans. For 15 million you could get a top striker for this level, instead of a Joel Piroe. That's just one example but whatever money we have will go much further buying from over there. We should also supplement that with a couple good loans from the Premier League and even look into whether there are any players worth getting from League One/Two

For me, there was always going to be a lot of people leaving whether we stayed in championship or got promoted to PL. We only have 3/4 players that can play at PL level IMO. Farke going to have another tough close season to sort the squad out and if we stay down it’s going to be a tough season unless we recruit battle hardened championship players. No point in keeping any of those players regardless of division. If we are in the champ you can get better players on half the wages, for example i imagine Ayling is paid twice as much as Van Ewijk at Coventry and he is a much better right back at this level. Get them out, get the wage bill down and be smart in the transfer market.

Wow. Everyone is league 1 quality, maybe we should sign Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham & Declan Rice. 😂😂😂 whats with this high expectation? If we don’t go up, we would be lucky if we can sign lath or Szmodics, even they would go to ipswich or Leicester (both needing a striker) if they try to sign them. Fans need to wake up and know that we are not in the premier league anymore and we don’t have the pulling power, just the name Leeds united alone won’t suffice these days. Theres something gone missing in the dressing room...team havent pulled in same direction as they did earlier. One thing. I believe we should play Dan James anytime. He was very unfairly dropped to sulking Gnonto. Dan is a side before self man and look at his numbers this season. Top notch!

@Batcat2022 I've not had my judgement clouded. I've watched a very young player hang in the premier league in a very very poor team. I think what clouds peoples judgement is being unable to see the difference between a top tier technical football player that will go on to play at the highest level and would rather have a player who "loves the club" but is a good championship player. Having owners who ran the club like sentiment FC and giving out to players who aren't good enough is the reason we sit in the championship not the premier league.
