I was victim of sexual abuse at the hands of my dad, which caused me to get into violent relationships and nearly lost my life several times.I turnt to use drugs to numb the pain. A year ago, I was praying to God with this song, to revive my broken family. My mom has been fasting for my dad for 16 years (which is my age now). During the times when I felt that our family has no hope in reconciling, my mom never lost faith. This summer of 2019 (April), by God's grace, my dad came back to Jesus and this May, my dad even responded to God's call!! Our family's back, after a decade and a half! 😭😭 Hearing this song once again makes me want to cry because of God's faithfulness. I used to be a lesbian, addicted to porn, self-harm, depression, anxiety, anger issues, sent pictures, suicidal thoughts, was never happy, never calm, and made fun of God. I did nothing with my life, but one day I came across a video. I saved it to my watch later. I thought it was music, like a month later I went to that video. Actually, it was someone talking about how to get confidence. After I watched all her videos, one video she was talking about being grateful and praying it can help you. I didn’t believe it, but every night I was praying to God for what I was grateful for. Even though i didn’t believe in God but my heart did I started to pray for God to help me with happiness, then I started to go to church again. I used to hate going to church, but I love it now. But then my ear was in pain. I was screaming and crying about how badly it was hurting. I was praying and praying, telling God to make the pain go away. Then my eardrum raptured . I screamed!!!! But after it was less pain, I went to the doctors, and she said my ear was bleeding, but I was praying to God to heal it. It was all cleaned out, even in the other ear, she said, but still blood in one ear the raptured. But then I lost my hearing in both ears. That used to happen a lot when I was younger. I could never sleep on my side because I would wake up and my ear would be blocked on and off for years. Even when I went to school, my friend used to make fun of me because I had to hold my ear just to hear, but I was praying to God, and I was not scared or crying at all. I was so calm, it’s shocking. I just let myself heal then an hour later my ear healed, months later I could sleep however I wanted. As I came closer to God, I started to talk to him a lot. I even told him to remove the people that shouldn’t be in my life anymore. They all unfriended randomly and didn’t say a word. February 2023 is when I stopped watching porn for good. I stopped self-harm way before that. I became so much happier. I’m straight now. I have less anxiety. I still have anger issues. But I'm so much calmer. I’m still very young and still learning about God and life. Everything takes time. But no matter who or what you are, God will always love you, even though you don’t know it yet. This is my first time telling people my story, hopefully I explain it well enough. Thank you for taking your time to read this, and remember that no matter what you’re going through, it will get better. And there’s so much parts I left out because I don’t have time, but yes, it was hard to become who I am now, but God will always be with you to guide you. God loves you, and I love you. Keep going

This song has become an anthem for me. Five years ago I had ovarian cancer and had to have my left ovary removed. My chance of having kids was 10%. Four years later I married my husband who already had a 4 year old daughter. I wanted kids but told God if was up to him. I would love him either way December 29th 2017 I gave birth to a beautiful blue eyed blonded hair boy. Then this year on June 4th God blessed me again and I gave birth to the sweetest boy with the biggest smile. I have also celebrated 5 years cancer free.
