The steam locomotives were once the backbone of rail transport, after which they were replaced by diesel and electric locomotives. But many tourist and museum railways have survived until the 21st century. Experience steam locomotives from all over Europe, before special trains, but also before regular passenger and freight trains on a journey across the continent.
All videos were taken between 2016 and 2019.
We visit the following places:

Belgium: 29,013 at Le Chemin de fer du Bocq
Czech Republic: Steam locomotives of the Ceske Drahy & Photogallery train in the Sazavatal
France: Chemin de Fer da la Baie de Somme
Poland: Sorda narrow gauge railway and steam locomotives from Wolsztyn with regular passanger trains (Plandampf)

Eine bärige Zusammenstellung. Reisen statt Rasen und Landschaft/Umgebung genießen. V. a. die CFL Maschine und die Belgierin sind rare Stücke, die nicht so oft gezeigt werden. Und die tschechischen Edelrenner der Lokschmiede von Skoda sind ja die Sahnehäubchen des in den 50ger Jahren zu Ende gegangenen Dampflokbaus in Europa. Hoffentlich - nach der Covid-19 Pause - wieder viel Dampfer unterwegs. 💪💪

Brilliant! Not really show casing the best of what the UK has to offer but still great to see. I can see why the Gresley a4's really stood out from anything else.

Diantara negara Europe, German lebih maju kedepan kerana mereka masih menggunakan Locomotive Enjin Wap, kerana perkhidmatan ini sentiasa mendapat sambutan daripada orang ramai diGerman..

Ich bin ganz hin und weg, das sind ja super Bilder, die du da für uns eingefangen hast ! Eine kleine Anmerkung habe ich dennoch ! Wäre es Möglich die Namen der Eisenbahnstrecken als kurze Einblendung zu zeigen ? Danke und einen guten Rutsch nach 2020 von den Swabian Mountains near Ulm Holger

(18:58) Als ich das erst Mal eine der zahlreichen Schmalspurbahnen in Wales mit ihren teilweise skurilen Dampfloks in der verzauberten Landschaft hier auf YT gesehen habe, wurde ich sofort an "Alice im Wunderland" erinnert. Die Zusammmenstellung selbst kann nur als großartig bezeichnet werden und es ist ein wahrer Genuß sie anzusehen. - Heinz

Most of the steam trains are on heritage railways, excursion trains or other steam train events in operation. But for example the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways or the steam trains around Wolsztyn (Poland) are in service on a regular basis.
