Leftist / democratic ideologies are being pushed on people in abusive, toxic ways.
Woke bullies are still bullies. It's not about 'white supremacy,' it's about control.

I dismissed the whole thing, like a lot of people I know, because we figured it was a passing fad. It wasn't until I was sitting across from a girl in a college class who was a true believer. Over the course of the semester she systematically creeped me out on so many levels. I'm an older guy who worked half a lifetime in construction, I don't scare easy. But picturing this person in a position of power was terrifying.

@@daetshadowbright3262 You're having a sane reaction to an insane dynamic. Do not let anyone bully you into self-doubt or despair. Arm yourself with knowledge, eat right, exercise and foster new relationships wherever possible. The people you love are still there, going through their own existential crisis, it is not your job to talk them into or out of anything. Your job is to stay strong for yourself, to weather the storm and work for the better tomorrow that is YOUR vision. I know that's easy to say, but even if it feels like it you are not alone. I may never see my niece again because her mother heard me say that a real feminist might have issues inviting biological males into girl's bathrooms and battered women's shelters. Her intellectual retort was that I'm a toxic white male. I barely caught myself from letting it go any further. Their arguments are built on sand and they know it, that's why they're so reactionary and paranoid. Do not indulge their lunacy. If you've got no one else to talk to feel free to bug me whenever. @Carry Peach I don't think I can agree with your assessment. Like anything and everything in our world, the internet has good things and bad things about it. But saying that it is solely responsible for misogyny feels wildly inaccurate to me. Misogyny existed long before the internet did and I feel that awareness of that has vastly improved in the internet era. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by pornsickness, or the me/me interaction, and would love it if you can clarify. As to the void of intimacy, as someone who essentially grew up online, I can say beyond shadow of a doubt that I have had a lot of meaningful relationships that have been exclusively online, and some led me to travel to places that I never thought that I would, specifically to meet the incredible people I met online, and was how my husband and I connected. It's true that there are toxic environments online, and that the internet has its part to play, but it is a resource with no more fault than a library. The issue, as I see it, is that people have surrendered the ability to exercise critical thinking and have taken things that should be questioned as absolute and unquestionable. It's easier to take things at face value instead of asking why, and asking why can be uncomfortable when you're treated like an idiot by a person who believes they know better. This is all, of course, from my perspective and experience, and I mean no offence in my disagreement, so I hope that you'll clarify those two points to me so we can continue the discussion!

Cancel culture, stalking of what someone likes or retweets on social media, refusal to befriend anyone with different politics(or even visit relatives with different politics), and overall demonization of those you disagree with or white straight cis and/or men by the Left is such a problem. We are also to blame for letting these people have so much control over our culture and society.
@YoungMommy14

Yeah... I think it's an issue as well. The really f*cked up thing is the vast majority of people (I think) who espouse the notion that White, Hetero, Cis men are 'evil' are LITERALLY primarily White, Hetero, Did Men. The issue is that they are racked with 'White Guilt'. They desperately need someone (ideally a Black dude) to grab them by the shoulders, shake them and tell them 'You're not responsible for the transgressions of a distant relative that you never knew'! I remember seeing footage (presumably in Times Square). There were these Black Woman in chairs, and they were literally getting their feet washed by these White Men. If I was there, I would have confronted them all and try to convince them to stop. They don't realize the damage that they're doing. Young White kids see this and they start feeling that Society Views them as 'the enemy' and they are liable to either commit suicide or become radicalized. This is all a huge mess.

Funny how I was (and still am) debating with some transgender people because I stated that I refuse to date a transman. It reminded me of being sixteen again, and being around so many people who were against my sexuality. It also reminded me of the depression I went through back then. There we times I just wanted to end it all, but luckily I pulled through and accepted myself and grew stronger as a result. People being offended by what you believe in, or who you are isn't your problem. It's their problem. If they're going out of their way to complain then that is a clear indicator. Everyone should be comfortable with who they are. Who cares if you're a straight, white man who's a christian, or a muslim transwoman. Accept who you are, accept that there will be people that won't accept you & realize that there are external forces outside of your control and that you shouldn't let them effect you. Be kind, be humble but know when to smack a bitch when it's needed.

@Crisjola

This is so true, and while the Sunk Cost Fallacy really never should apply to interpersonal relationships, for some reason, the way we humans do it, we make it apply to interpersonal relationships. I try very hard (it's helped that my mum and I have been stumbling toward figuring out who is and isn't toxic in our lives and going from extremes to less extreme as we weed through them) to give people time to either "give them enough rope to hang themselves" (turn of phrase, KZfaq) so I know that it's fully malicious, that they have no desire to change, or that they're so messed up that even trying to help will only drag me down with them. It's been one hell of a journey to go through but being booted bodily out of the RadicalKweer (yes I misspelled it on purpose ^_^) community for not conforming to their (very warped) thought policing of what was and wasn't good and what was and wasn't abuse (hint: only hets could commit abuse if you were anything other than natal-sex and het, you were scot-free) I found out really quickly what happens when a group with too much power over impressionable people can do and how those in charge can have it go to their heads.

I'm a heteroromantic asexual woman that is discussing having a child with my boyfriend once we get married and I'm terrified of what might happen to said child if they're ANYTHING like the two of us. Looking back at my childhood I was always non gender conforming and was a MASSIVE sci-fi nerd that that liked playing rough and tumble with the boys but luckily my mother was a techie that worked on computers and cars and my father's family runs towards artists despite his being a trucker so when people said "You shouldn't let her have the Thundercats big-wheel you should make her have the Barbie pink one" my parents told them ALL to leave me alone and let me like what I like because it's none of their business. Had I been born in the 2000's exactly as I was in the 80's I'm convinced some do-gooder teacher would have convinced me I was trans and not just a male minded female. I can see myself waking up as a teen and realizing that I LIKE being a female despite my hobbies and mindset and being deeply traumatized by the time spent being talked into identifying as trans. My BF isn't 100% straight and he's a very intelligent and artistic man that loves me for my mind more than anything else and he was bullied by family for not conforming strictly to their expectations despite not really doing anything straying that far from gender norms. His Latino side of the family was very intolerant of his creativity and intelligence. If our daughter is like me and loves computers, tools, nerd stuff, etc. or our son is an artist/writer like his father I can 100% see these delusional asshats calling us bigots for not forcing a child to make life altering decisions while they still believe in Santa and the Ester Bunny despite both of us going through the same things and coming out happy and whole despite people trying to get us to change to fit their ideals. This is why we are planning on home schooling as much as possible.

I'm now married with two kids and still know that I'm 100% straight but prefer stereotypical male dominated conversations about construction, building codes, and architecture, rather than more stereotypical female conversations like scrapbooking, other people's kids and fashion. @@ShojoBakunyu I know this is a rather old post for the interwebs. I was a kid in the 70s and a teen in the 80s. I'm ever so grateful that my mother let me be the tomboy I was. She was one too, but didn't get to express it like me. I'd be terrified to be a kid now and be confused into thinking I was trans. I often said I wanted to be a boy or even let people think so. It wasn't that I wanted to be a boy or felt like I was one somehow. I just like boys activities more and got tired of being told girls dont do that. I'm glad I am not a young person now.

I had a sort of abusive friend who was really good at using words to manipulate. I remember her saying "You're being defensive," and I had the good sense to counter with "Yes, because you're attacking me, a defensive posture is the absolutely correct response." This was followed by "I'm not attacking you, I'm attacking your bullsh*t idea." So I had to come back with "My idea is correct, so I have to defend it." Suffice it to say, that didn't go over well. This was in the days when you could be friends with a liberal, so we got over it, but uhm, we don't talk any more.

Honestly this video was refreshing to see. I’m stuck in this abusive “friendship” with this super left liberal girl and she basically emotionally and verbally abuses me when I don’t agree with what she is saying, she’s made me question my sexuality (and sanity) multiple times when I am sure on what I am. I’m not sure how to break this off because I’m stuck in one of my classes with her and it’s one I really enjoy, that’s what makes it worse. She’s hypocritical and emotionally draining and her non stop talk about how left is better makes me wanna move away from the left perspective. Just venting here sorry to bother, love your videos ❤️

@Barbatos , I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. I can relate. Honestly, I would reeeally urge you to “move away from the left perspective” because that is a move away from lunacy and dishonesty; it has truly become a mind control cult. I’d also encourage you to tell your “friend” that you need some space, at the least. I had her twin as a “friend” a few years ago and I ended up writing her a letter thanking her for good stuff in the past but I told her that she and I had too little in common in the way we looked at things to be well suited to be friends. One of the best moves I ever made, and she and I stopped hanging out. What a relief! And zero regrets.

I mean, you and I don’t have a lot of the same beliefs, but I still support you to share yours even when they don't match mine, whereas some people who are supposedly “on the same side” as me will literally try to cancel me just for showing that support. 🤷‍♂️

Or do you label yourself “conservative” because you don’t embrace “WOKE” dogma? If that’s the case, then over 90% of Americans would be “conservative”, including myself. And yet, I’m politically and socially a liberal. I believe government can be a force for good in a society. I believe in acceptance of difference, but I’m against “offensesensitivity” and culture of victimhood. I’m sure most WOKE people would label me a bigot. So, am I now a “conservative” by default?

This was the reason I "left the left" so to speak. I still consider myself a liberal; I'm pro homosexuality (I am gay after all), pro drug legalization, pro legalization of prostitution, I'm against the death penalty, pro equality between the sexes and races, anti-war, all of that but no longer a "leftist". It was the absolute dogma around it all and the demand for unquestioning subservience that made me go, "This...this is becoming a cult..." and I can't be bothered with any cult nonsense. And it just kept getting worse and worse. I remember feeling constant anxiety over saying the wrong thing and causing someone to have a complete meltdown. That's not healthy at all. Now, if you're not a total Marxist, you may as well be a Nazi in their eyes. Sorry, but I've seen what Marxism has done and I want no part of that. They also refuse to consider that leftism can be taken too far (Holodomor? Oh that didn't count. The Great Leap Forward? Oh that wasn't really communism. Gulags? Oh they weren't really that bad. Could you imagine if someone said concentration camps weren't that bad?). 10 years ago, my views were called liberal, now, at best, they're moderate if not right of moderate. That really tells you something.

It’s amazing how cyclical abuse is, some victims become perpetrators without even being conscious of it, while those that don’t go to sometimes extreme lengths to always be conscious of their behavior and how it effects those around them. I agree that the differential in this situation is a willingness to take accountability for their actions even when accountability means being socially uncomfortable, or in some cases a pariah.

Thank you for this!!! My mom is from Mexico and my dad is Canadian. I just love being told by Snow White liberals that I have no right to an opinion or I am not Mexican because I am too white. Yet Obama’s mom was white and his dad is black and he is the first black president...... ohhh the hypocrisy. I find it funny how the left are the ones who tell people whether they are not mixed enough etc to have a right to an opinion. What is my opinion? That a person should be judged not by the color of their skin but by their character , just because someone is white doesn’t make someone automatically racist and just because someone is brown doesn’t mean they can not be racist. People of all colors can be racist even to their own, people of all colors have a right to an opinion, people of all colors have the right NOT to be bullied simply based on the color of their skin 💕 This game of division is what THEY want, and benefits no one but the ones running the game . We all need to come together and unite, only than will their ever be peace and we will win at their game

Calling who you are or are not sexually attracted to, bigotry, is like calling the process of your internal digestion by your involuntary organs, a CHOICE?!?

WOW this is freaking amazing. Having similar experiences in abusive relationships like you, Arielle, and you are SPOT ON about leftist lunacy. I couldn't explain it so succinctly like I can now after watching this video. THANK YOU!!! KEEP GOING!!!

I came to this conclusion last year when I noticed it was impossible to have a normal, friendly conversation or debate with anybody Left leaning. I’m an independent with liberal and conservative views so I find myself in the middle on some issues, definitely right on others and slightly left on others. I too was in an abusive relationship and the more 2020 went on, I kept saying.. geez Louise the Left are literally acting like my abusive ex narcissist. Like 💯 acting like it. Arielle, you always hit the nail right on it’s head! 👍🏻

It's a good and true message. The Left, at times, is truly sick by psychological definitions.

i had a therapist laugh out loud at me for telling her i went to a sorority party one time. the whole floor was invited, of course i was not invited back. but she thought it was so funny. and they aren't supposed to be judgmental.i am and always have had physical differences so it was not new to me to be rejected.

Hugs.... you are not messed up once you realize that you did mess up and trust someone who didn't deserve your love... but you were the real human with real feelings and desires to make it work and that was used against you... the people who hurt you are a type of predator that feeds on the sincerity of others and feeds on how far they can dominate another... ultimately the ones who hurt you are the messed up ones who can't connect with sincerity due to deep insecurity and self hate... don't let their mess infect you... learn to pity them for their weakness and accept that your sincere heart is truly strong... after all... you grew from your relationships and they didn't. I know you probably have heard this stuff in therapy... but it doesn't hurt for a stranger on the internet who has been there and felt the same internalized pain to stop by and remind you that your are awesome and not broken. Honor and Respect.

It's a tactic which is common in Scientology and other cults. "Handle or disconnect", which is the leaders insisting that an individual must cut ties with friends and family, in case they aren't 100% affirmative of the cult/members as well. I'm a lesbian and my mom and grandma are extremely narcissistic and abusive (unrelated to my sexuality, but I was often given homophobic statements as well). Therapists never considered to go no-contact with my so-called family right away. The goal was always to work towards a better relationship or at least a friendly coexistence. Only when the therapist was convinced enough that the family dynamics were so toxic and dysfunctional and that they were in fact abusive, they recommended that I move out and cut all ties. Trans Activists violently insist that every gender confused teen or tween radically cuts ties with non-affirmative parents, even when they are as young as 9 years old. "Glitter parents", sometimes complete strangers take other people's children in their homes, not knowing anything about these kids and their past - but affirm them and even get them access to medical procedures and hormones. "PhD's" like Ehrensaft, who appears to me as pseudoscientific as Ray Comfort, compares puberty blockers to life saving cancer treatment! The audacity! What the heck still needs to happen? Wake the hell up!
