I went through this too, until I started shaving with ADCOS bath oil (one with yellow packaging), the skin is smooth, it doesn't itch when it starts to grow and there is no redness from shaving.

I personally hate shaving my legs bc i my whole body fwwla tired when i shave idk why but when i dont shave i feel so much better but im scared if people see it thats why i shave i know hair is so natural but some people take it seriously when someone doesnt shave and starts making fun of it its such a big deal for them thats why i shave but having hair on our legs is not a problem thats how a human is created so no worries 😊

I’d say if anything, maybe try not shaving and see how it goes. If it goes well you can keep it up, but if not, you can turn back to shaving. But if anything, definitely remember it’s your choice as to what you want to do, and you don’t have to exhaust yourself to please others 👍

Les recomiendo no aplicar el exfoliante de esa manera, ya que es un desperdicio de producto 😅Solo tomen un poco de este, como del tamaño de la yema del pulgar, y lo frotan entre sus manos hasta que comience a quedar una especie de crema, y pues esta se la aplican en el cuerpo y frotan, exfoliando de esa manera😊Verán que se triplica el tamaño del poquito de producto que tomaron, no es necesario usar tanto.

People, don't exfoliate your skin before or after shaving. Shaving is an exfoliation itself, and a pretty aggressive one. And NEVER shave against hair growth. NO!!

How can you make a video about a topic without first informing yourself about it with professionals? Successful shaving does not depend on whether or not you exfoliate your skin before using a razor, it depends on: 1.- The quality and sharpness of the razor. 2.- The technique used. 3.- NEVER EVER shave dry, because then we DO run the risk of cutting ourselves. Please! Exfoliating before shaving increases the chance of accidentally cutting yourself during the process, and if you don't know, many cuts can become severely infected. And if you're really so well informed, why are you shaving against the grain? Also, leaving that aside, you tell me that you worry about getting burns from shaving without exfoliating the skin first....but you are ignoring the fact that you are shaving DIRECTLY IN THE SUN. I'm sorry but it makes absolutely no sense. Please, if you are going to make a video about any of these topics, it is YOUR OBLIGATION TO INFORM YOURSELF. You are putting the health of your followers and the people who may encounter your video at risk. What a shame indeed.

This was said by a forum called "Mind Body Green" and was written by Jaime Schneider, who is a JOURNALIST, not a dermatologist or a doctor... A JOURNALIST. Honey...you just blatantly copied the first result that appeared on Google, and affirmed its veracity without investigating first. I just did some quick research on Joshua Zeichner, do you know what I found? a video of him on how to shave correctly. His words were: "First, always shave after a shower. Second, make sure you always use a shaving cream or foam and NEVER do it dry. Third, if the hairs are too long, start by shaving them with an electric shaver". He NEVER mentioned anything related to exfoliating before or after shaving, so I'm sorry, but what you read in the forum is a lie...and in fact it is also illegal... You can check it out for yourself, and stop promoting misinformation. Please! Investigations must be done methodically and critically, information must be sought in reliable and certified forums, always with 100% professional sources of information. This was just a KZfaq comment, but if you were conducting research for professional purposes, doing what you did could cost you your job, your professionalism, and your reputation. Watching many of his other videos, I can tell you that dermatologist Joshua Zeichner is a VERY GOOD dermatologist, so I totally recommend his account if you want to learn about dermatology. Removal cream is so much better. You destroy the follicles so it doesn't grow back and those that do are much thinner. If you leave it on longer, the result is even better, although I'm probably going to regret not using the recommended time at some point.

the 10 Commandments for Preventing Razor Bumps & Ingrown Hairs 1. THOU SHALT NOT USE DIRTY BLADES! Avoid shaving with dull, over-used razor blades. And be sure to keep your slightly used tools as clean as possible. Scrub the cutting heads of your tools with soap, hot water, and rubbing alcohol to destroy bacteria. Pro Tip: even brand new blades still need to be cleaned. 2. HONOR THY DELICATE SKIN! Avoid too many blades! If you are prone to ingrown hairs then you don’t need 3 or more blades. More blades equal more passes causing the hair to fall beneath the skin and become ingrown. Plus, more blading the skin leads to micro cuts through which bacteria is more likely to enter and this leads to razor burn. 3. DO NOT TAKE PREP TIME IN VAIN! Wash or steam the skin for 2 to 3 minutes with warm water. Then apply the shaving cream leaving it on for at least 2 minutes to really soften the hair. 4. THOU SHALT NOT GO AGAINST THE GRAIN! Shaving against the grain (upwards) may get you a closer shave but doing so also increases ingrowns. Shave in the direction of hair growth…it’s usually downwards. Confirm this by doing a face/ body inspection to see which way your hair grows. 5. THOU SHALT NOT PRESS! Avoid pressing too hard on the skin with the blade. If you follow STEP #3, then a gliding, light touch is all you need. The hair stubble should literally fall away with little or no pressure from the blade. Pressing hard is the main cause of shaving irritation! Be gentle so as to prevent the hair from being cut so low that it falls beneath the top layer of skin. 6. THOU SHALT NOT PASS, PASS, PASS! Avoid too many quick passes with the blade. One pass per hairy area - going 1-2 inches downward at a time - will prevent ingrown hairs. Always shave like you might cause damage, not like you’re mowing the front lawn. 7. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT OVER SHAVING! Avoid shaving too often. This rule is hard to follow, especially if you have to be beardless for your job…but if you are prone to ingrowns, try hair removal with electric clippers (the barber kind of clippers).
