It's no coincidence that when the show got rid of the ‘monster of the week’ format and started embracing its history, it finally got better. The show was missing intensity and actual consequences. Took them four seasons, but they got it right.

This should bring the last three mikaelson siblings back, maybe Vincent and davina too. Probably be a chance for hope to learn her family history which was never really taught to her.

Hope's infatuation with what that blade did to Klaus, may end up being how her humanity comes back. And goddamn I love Aroura now cause she really brought hope down to earth🙌🙌

Now that an Originals villain showed. I'm expecting the Mikaelsons to handle it. I'm gonna be so pissed if a Mikaelson shows up but in the end the squad would come and save the day. Julie should not forget the Mikaelsons ever existed when there's Hope Mikaelson, she showed us the importance of family in The Originals so she should at least honor that now that this season is more centred on Hope and a Mikaelson villain just showed up. I at least want Hope to value family and always and forever. But this is Julie Plec so expect to be disappointed. 🙃🥲

I think it would be awesome if Marcel, Freya and Rebekah came together to help defeat aurora the old fashioned Mikaelson way (as a family). Rebekah being auroras sire means there’s history, freya with her spells and marcel being indestructible aside from the knife freya made in s4 of the originals . They should be able to defeat hope and get her humanity back. Sounds like more of a tvd kind of plot but should still be interesting.
