I know this is 4 years old but thank you so much for this build it helped me easily destroy the mythical bosses in nightmare mode

I have this set and I wasn't quite sure how I got it. As you said it came from hunting mercenaries and I do hunt them. I am so pleased with 30% resistance and I usually play on hard and can't be touched. I now take on crowds and just move away to get better attacks. Thanks for showing how to make it even better.

This is such a fun build, I was sick of having to stay at a distance this makes me feel like a god.

With certain engravings you can have 100% melee and ranged resistance so you’re completely immune except from elemental damage. Run the spartan javelin with 30% melee resist (only weapon in the game with melee resist) ( also from a quest btw) and I run the bighorn bow and the flax of Olympus engraving so I can actually do damage. With this build I can do the level 99 arena as a lvl 94 on nightmare.

now wait until you get to lvl 99 and have rank 10 engraving unlocked after you can have 105% to melee resistance, 77.5% to ranged resistance, 85% elemental resistance and 100% chanced to ignore half damage. put +30% Ranged Resistance on Perseus Crown, +30% Melee Resistance on Bracers of Theseus , +20% on Elemental Resistance and +40% Chance to Ignore Half Damage on Hippolyta's Belt, for Atalanta Sandals i went for +20% CRIT Chance whiles Full Health. 15% Melee/Ranged/Elemental Resistance and the 20% Chance to Ignore Half Damage comes from Mastery Level. Since you have 100%+ Melee Resistance any melee enemies will deal 0 damage to you this is without any weapon added, so you don't need Staff of Hermes Trismegistus but if you dont want to place point in Chance to Ignore Half Damage you can, but if you do use point to boost it you can use a different weapon and engrave it with Low chance to gain a 30% Health Shield when hit

Thank you for the build. I used the Greek armor, but tweaked a few things toward my play style. Before I could only take 1 or two hits on Nightmare. Now I can go toe to toe with 5 or less mercs at a time👍🏾. Thank you again.

Why did you leave KZfaq dude? I was hooked on Odyssey for 3 months straight and “try harded” and dived into the grind to try out as many of your builds as I could from June to late August (2019) and I’m now getting the urge to play Odyssey again and you are no longer uploading *sadface*

I made this build last night and OMG it's INSANE!! I'm not kidding when I say I was literally LOL for hours. It was NUTS! I'd walk into a big fort and be like 'BRING...IT...ON!!' Or I'd be on fire and be like 'Oh, I'm on fire. Cool' Then LOL as I ran around slaying Athenians. Even when I bothered to look at my heath bar it might've be down a 1/4 of an inch. Or it'd be full, but tinged green. 'Oh, I guess I've been poisoned. Awesome' and I'd LOL some more. I don't even look at it anymore even if I'm fighting like 3 mercenaries and 5 or 6 soldiers at the same time. Of course I play on NM diff, like a true Spartan. :D At one point I grabbed some quests. One of which was to kill 5 sharks anywhere in Greece. But I didn't feel like sailing to some underwater ruins I'd already plundered so I just jumped in the water at Phokis and started swimming. However, there weren't any sharks close to shore so I swan out into deep water....where the ships are. >:} Oh yeah!! And when I was done there were 7 Triremes and 3 or 4 other ships with no crew and no treasure just floating out there like ghost ships. I should've put up a sign that said "Here there be monsters" >:} So yeah. Y'all have to make this build!! It's crazy good!!! I did substitute the spear with a sword that had poison perks but that's the only change I made. And only because I like swords > spears, because I'm terrible with spears. :|

With 28% chance to ignore half damage on 3 items you should only need 16% from mastery to get to 100% so you could save a couple points that way. Also pretty sure the 100% Damage 25% health engraving effectively makes all the other health bonuses 1/4 of what they're listed as.

What an incredible build! Didn’t think I‘m ever gonna use the 25% health perk but there it suits very well! Also it is refreshing that you use some legendary sets, everybody can obtain without grinding for hours. Don’t get me wrong epic builds are amazing and often better compared to legendary equivalents, but farming the „perfect“ gear means a lot of effort. Besides that: Jordan you are awesome! PS: is there any opportunity to build an hunter/warrior hybrid? Really struggling to play hunter mixed with any other class, since hunter nowadays needs so many perks to get his old strength back.

Did you consider using fire perks instead because it's a better damage output than poison exept for the new mythical cyclops who is immune for fire damage but it's a great build in general I will build this 🙏

Another great one. Gonna try this build for sure. To change my gameplay a bit.

Have maxed out all 20 ranks for both health on hit and adrenaline on parry, mix that with an assassin build on top of using the new daggers that have a chance to deal full assassin damage, also making sure you’re crit chance is up.. untouchable! (Tho mercs using explosive arrows still tend to get around this build on the odd occasion)

I used this set and it was a tank Even with the mythical creatures and 2-3 high level mercenaries. I am not not doing "assassin's" creed game. I am just blazing through camps with 5 wanted levels 😂

I agree. This is my go-to warrior build. It's insanely tanky. I'm not great at parrying but with this, you don't really need to be. Even without the Spartan Javelin from the Thaletas Way quest like (only weapon with a 30% melee resistance buff), I'm pretty much indestructible. I'm at 99.9% melee res. / 84% elemental res. / 78% ranged res. Along with all the other ability points, I use the Prometheus Sika and buffed fire damage to take out enemies. I used this for minotaur, medusa, deimos, the immortals, arges, conquest battles, kolossi, etc. And I never take any damage.

I made this set on level 66 and it is still a tank on the hard game mode. I defeated all the arena guys on level 66 in new game plus

Lets start with the staff of Hermes is only available from the Atlantis DLC which changes things quite a bit if you only have the base game. Then the ridiculous points required to be a tank are just as ridiculous as the build itself. Nice vid.

This armor is TANK!!! I've been playing an assassin build for 400+ hrs and was getting bored. I had this armor on my ship at lvl 30? I took your advice and build this(I use fire though) upgraded to 70 and holy crap! I took on 4 mercs and an entire fort and only twice used healing perk. Thank you for pointing this out!

What is fun about looking up the perfect build, choosing that and then strolling through the levels? Part of the fun is figuring this stuff out, researching for yourself what works best and what matches your style.

Great job...love the videos! I have the complete set but I don't see the +30% all resist as an engraving option to put on my other gear like you can do with other set bonuses, like arrow pierce shields. Am I missing something?

I am currently playing Odyssey,level 57 and i chose this set along with chance on ignoring half damage ( i think ive engraved 2 pieces with a certain amount i dont recall at the moment) and i noticed that IMMEDIATELY Nightmare difficulty droped to Normal in terms of not dieing that easily xD! That's why i searched here if indeed that combination of armor and engravings is that super powerful and i was right :D So happy i figured this out without a walkthrough or something :p I also use daggers and bow with permanent Poison damage because of the extra stat reduction of enemies and INDEED i kill mercenaries 3 at a time xD

I don't recommend this build because I played it and after 5 hours of OPness I find myself bored of how OP I am

This is an killer build thanks for sharing. I personally find better results when using the judgment of the lion legendary heavy blade with its out of the box 10% restore on parry.

Next build you can try is agamennon set + hammer from arges the bright one + any other weapon with weapon damage becomes fire damage and lots of crit chance to make your 30s fire tick 60 times with half of the ticks being crit xD only downside is that on nightmare you are pretty squishy but fire damage is craaaaaaaaaazy

cool! i use an axe couse of flavor. +30% dmg when full, and 30% armor penetration in place os 100% dmg (25 total health) and 20% armor and Health. Also im trying to increase my armor penetration on mastery levels

HEy thanks for all the cool builds.. one question though: you favor poison quite much, and i think its a cool debuff, but is poison.dmg as a stat worth it? Critting for 50.000, the additional 1.500 occasional poison dmg tick does seem like a waste of a stat to me, or am I mission something? Thanks again

This armor set + “weapon damage becomes fire damage” engraving on any legendary sword + Abraxas legendary horse = unstoppable demigod

A good way to add more damage now that you can get to lvl 99 is put ability points in poison damage or spear damage

You could also use the Judgement of the Lion Legendary Axe for 10% health on parry

Umm, can you recommend another weapon and bow that is legendary and suits well with this build? You see, I sell all gears I get except for Legendary ones because you can't sell them.

Just tried this build and combined with the substitutions I had to make due to weapon availability and only having 100 or so points to play with not 180 I find that the damage dealt is not enough.

you play warrior but you choose poison can I replace it by fire damage without decreasing damage? also I'm wondering how your full health in the beginning of your video and the ending while you equipped 100% damage but health capped to 25% did you replace anything?

How do you have so many points in the masteries? I counted and you have way more than 70 points used, how do you get more abiltity points? I'm level 50 and it takes forever to level... (yes i know about tombs/steles) Is there a faster way to get ability points?

Does crit damage/chance while full health give more in return than just putting points in crit chance/damage in the hunter tree?

Hi, I’m lvl 55 and I don’t have the option to engrave crit chance at full health, any ideas on why?

I was only able to get Melee resistance to 99% I cannot find enough range resistance engravings that are a percentage big enough to make a difference. Arrows and thrown labels are able to three shot me.

Are these mercenaries locked if you miss them the first time round? Im like s2 mercenary and im guessing they dont lvl with you

one question though Justin, do I have to be at lvl 70 for thus build, cause I dont have that armore you should in that build
