Wasim Akram has always been very sensible in his comments. His experience comes through in each and every word. It is sad that the PCB is not utilising his immense experience and phenomenal capability as one of the most destructive fast bowlers. Even today, there is no one like Wasim who can bowl yorkers in the slog overs!

The commitment part of Rahul Dravid is exemplary. I remember one time he was struggling to get runs at international level. To get back into form he went back to Bengaluru and played for his club BUCC in Karnataka 1st division league and then played few matches for the state team. Upon on his return to International cricket after that the runs started flowing from his bat. This shows the hunger, egoless attitude.

But, what's really great about Dravid, is that the preparations the team had, inspite of injuries, out of form players, competition and vast talent pool! Yes, you need luck too, but one can only do what's in his hands and this mgmt have done everything that they could potentially do, in terms of preparation - both physically and mentally! Ofc India is the best team in this world cup but we must take into consideration they are the host as well! Bangladesh was unbeatable before this world cup because they were playing at home but now they are getting exposed! Same thing can be said about no 1 odi team Pakistan! As Shoaib Malik mentioned Rahul Dravid waited for 2 hours for the former to wake up before asking his questions. I can recall 2 similar incidents. When Ravana was dying, Lord Shriram sent Laxman to seek knowledge from Ravana. Laxman stood near his head & was refused. Lord Shriram went & sat near Ravana’s feet with utmost humility. When Duryodhan & Arjun both went to Lord ShriKrishna before the great war of Mahabharat, the former sat near his head while the latter sat near his feet. The first & foremost quality of a student is humility. If a vessel is brimming with ego, you can’t pour the nectar of knowledge in it - it will fall off.

He had a wonderful time with SRH and until he was there they were making waves which gives an impression that he's very much in line with the needs of T20s and knows what it takes to deliver.
