One of the things that stands out while watching this is how generous they (and the whole VP group) are about sharing the spotlight. Not interrupting but instead deferring and listening while each member talks. They're just really humble, nice people- with absolutely Amazing talents! The whole group is better for it☺️
@bethjeans3780Ай бұрын
Yes, the way they “group speak” is how they sing.

I have often wondered if there was something special at that school to have fostered and promoted so many Wonderful and wonderfully Talented people. Apparently Kathy's father was an inspiration to a whole generation of amazing artists. Thank you, Sir!❤😊

An amazing interview - what classy people! It is wonderful to see artists who can share the limelight and root for their fellows. It was a gift to have such dedicated teachers who wanted the best for their students and gave them skills, support, self-confidence, and poise. The guys get the attention but NOTHING happens to make this magic without the structure - Kathy - your advice is prescient. When I saw the KZfaq about your hearing loss - I was saddened but I so admire your determination and skills. I have enjoyed your parts in the mix. Each member of Voiceplay is an outstanding solo artist and, together they are exponentially better. I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed it all. Layne - the math skills make perfect sense to me - once I found out that reading music was just math and not some "secret language" it all made sense. I should have taken classes too. I believe that the love of family and friends makes you all so unique. The attention to detail and the give and take show up in the final product. I could go on and on and sadly, I already have - yikes. Keep up the good work! THANK YOU!

Thank you for a wonderful interview with three incredibly talented people. Yes, I'm a Voiceplay fan. If you aren't familiar with them please give them a listen. They cover a many genres, something for everyone. I want to give a huge shout out to Kathy. You won't see her often in their videos ( there are some sightings) but she is a major factor in all the behind the scenes. Without her Voiceplay wouldn't be what it is.

Just gonna say Voiceplay is amazing-if you haven’t heard them yet, you’re missing it. Also, there’s a video on Geoff’s channel that talks about Kathy’s hearing loss. If you or anyone you know is going through this, it’s a must see. This woman is a rockstar, the way she’s moved in behind the scenes and become a huge part of what makes Voiceplay happen. Thanks for this interview!

Encore merci !....🥰💌

Nicely conducted and edited interview. It allowed each member to offer a different perspective. The things that VoicePlay does that make them exceptional (along with having innate talent) are their willingness to keep experimenting and pushing their skills while also being genuine humble and kind humans.
