Күн бұрынWelcome to episode two of our Legends of RC series. In this episode we take a look at the mighty Kyosho USA-1 Nitro Crusher, the original box, and it's box and content. As well as going over some history and background of this iconic monster truck.
But before we take a real good look at the truck, we are going to be stripping it down, price by piece and restoring it back to its former glory, showing you the process in the next few episodes.

The owner did a good upgrade on this big steering servo. Mine would hatdly turn with a scale servo. I have this truck in pieces since over 20 years. Bought it 25 years ago and i cant give it away. It was was the most expensive thing my parents bought me. Im regretting to have misused so hard, so that it is in is actual shape.

This one is pretty clean compared to the turbo burns I got recently. I would recommend to get invest in a ultrasonic cleaner which makes the job so much easier. I scored a mint nitro USA-1 yesterday with can’t wait for it to arrive so I can dig into it.

Ohh nice!!! Yeah they're pretty hard to come by in great condition. Yeah, actually we've been meaning to get one for a while, would make life so much easier. Especially once you see the rest of the restoration haha. Enjoy the new USA-1 😁

Hi there i would love to see a restoration video on the usa1 some day as i have been really lucky to have just bought one of these vintage beasts myself and am going to restore it some day soon.

This is the same exact model I had and I got mine ran over, I was very disappointed and thank you so much for the memories of this box I remembered 😁

Also I remember the spur gear would always strip out with the picco engine I used, anyone else have this issue

Since the new USA nitro crusher kyosho released ! I'm trying to purchase the new body. My vintage is in my storage "both" electric & nitro, hopefully you still have yours ??

@@RCEmpire_HQ 100% with you. My first car was the Kyosho Nitro Tracker. Been keeping an eye on on eBay for a new inbox USA-1. There one currently on eBay for 1700 with engine. Going to wait until the price drops or another kit is listed.

I still have mine, haven't started it in 20ish years. Mine came with a .21 O.S. engine. Did you restore it yet? I can't find a newer video of it on your channel.

Hah nice!, you should get it up and running! Yep, all done 😁, actually we haven't released it yet. I'm waiting for the launch of our website in March and we'll do it then. There'll be 2 or 3 more videos on it all the way though to firing it up 👍

anyone know where you can get parts for this truck (specifically counter gear) my father and I recently got his old usa-1 running but stripped out the counter gear in the process we adjusted the motor and flipped the diffs so it could run direct drive but I don't want to strip the main gear as I have heard their near impossible to find.

You are the only video or picture that i have found with the original engine i have one to and it has the original engine and next video can you tell us how much one of those costs now?

Really! Yeah absolutely, nice to see a few of the original ones still around. Honestly, we haven't seen any either haha. A lot of the chassis we've seen have been butchered too to fit other engines which is a shame. Do you still run it?
