Fun fact: They never tried to get Ezra Miller to make a cameo. The crossover had actually completed filming and Warner Brothers contacted them to see if they'd like to have him make an appearance. They jumped at the chance, of course, and added that extra scene.

The way they said it. the budget for crisis was about the same as the catering budget for endgame. and they still did an amazing job with it

Gleek originated in the 70s Super Friends cartoon. He's the pet of the Wonder Twins.

"Marv" is Marv Wolfman, a DC comics legend who co-created (mainly with artist George Perez) Raven, Cyborg, Deathstroke (imagine "Arrow" without Deathstroke !?), Starfire, the third Robin (Tim Drake) and a bunch of others (as well as writing the original "Crisis on Infinite Earths" comics). Plus, while at Marvel he co-created Blade. So maybe "legend" doesn't quite suffice :). Liked the condensing into one world which should allow more "mini crossovers". That and the changes, some of which they can reveal over upcoming seasons, make for great storytelling opportunities. All in all a fun crossover with lots of great cameos though for me it didn't work as a coherent story quite as well as previous years (it was almost _too_ big IMO, too ambitious).

The end with Brandon Routh as Superman was a nod to Christopher Reeve Superman, that's the final shot of the first Superman movie.

Episode 0 / 8 - it aired first but technically is episode 8 of Legends. Just now watching this and heard a slight spoiler - Sara asks about Behrad and his totem... We don't find out that he replaced Zari on the team until the next episode which is ep.1

2 things. Did you notice that Routh's Superman no longer had the back insignia? - guess that means his friends are not dead. I never realized that Ezra Miller was never called the Flash in the movies

Supergirl (one of the most famous comic book covers of all time) and The Barry Allen Flash were some of the legendary deaths in the original Crisis comic series, So I like that moment.

Also you should watch DC Universe shows if you have a chance. Swamp Thing, Titans, Doom Patrol, all are really good shows. #BringBackSwampThing

Swamp Thing was terrible. I love the character, but it was butchered. The writers, producers, and actors could never work hard enough to fix it. It would have to be entirely rebooted. If they did it too soon it would never be able to step away from this version's stink. Give it a couple years, and an entirely new crew and I would agree to give my Swampy another shot. Doom Patrol is badass, and Titans was good, but absolutely not Swamp Thing.

Not watche Swamp Thing yet - got the blurays just haven't watched. Doom Patrol is BADASS. Titans oh boy Titans... it can be good at times but this show is a mess. I still need to watch s2 (again got the bluray) but s1 was really badly edited...

I would think it could be Zero Hour but who knows, they kind of F’d it up from day one by starting the Flash series at the Flashpoint storyline, so it’s all out of order anyway

Well Invasion came before Crisis, so they're not in order, so any could be next. Legends, Zero Hour, Panic in the Sky, Imperiex War, Bloodlines, Eclipso: The Darkness Within, DC 1,000,000...

Well darkest night with All the lanterns and the flash as a blue lantern (still thinks he should have been the paradon of Hope since that would have been a great shout out to the blue lanterns of Hope) at some point would be cool

I would say that this crossover...just made me all warm inside. I REALLY enjoyed it and the cameos combining all versions of DC that we've seen (except, oddly, "Gotham" now that I think about it, but you could argue that show took place in the past) was just (*chef's kiss*) Mwah!.

Most important thing in this episode was that Oliver made sure that Diggle and Sarah got both their daughter and son. So beautiful. You need to watch Doom Patrol. It's very much like Legends in terms of wonderful weirdness.

Well this is the new normal it literally is an Arrowverse now. And the guy asking for the autograph is comic writer Marv Wolfman who wrote the original Crisis on Infinite Earths story which ironically ended up with the deaths of Flash and Supergirl. Diggle and Lyla have two kids now baby Sara got replaced by JJ due to Flashpoint now the Diggles have both kids. Agreed about Sara next to Oliver she’s the only remaining ‘veteran’. Agreed too I wonder how Thawne is going to be dealt with unless Barry has yet another crisis ahead. I didn’t like the cameos they took away from the whole story and if that was the reason why certain things were choppy then I could have done without em.

The shadow demons are counterparts to the time wraiths. To a person living in the antimatter universe, presumably the shadow demons protect the timeline and the time wraiths aren’t really an issue.

From what I've been hearing, it seems like the scene that got cut so that DCEU Flash could appear was one with Reverse Flash and our Barry in the speed force. While it likely would have helped the with the original continuity, the unexpected gift from DC pretty much underscored that sometimes these continuities need to abandoned for the sake of opportunity. Such is the writing life.

I'm not sure if that part with Felicity going through the portal still happened. They are in a new multiverse, so the future is most likely different and the Monitor also died. I think they are still leaving the door open for Oliver to return as the Spectre.

The thing that's kind of wild about bringing Supergirl's Earth into the same one is that now all the Arrowverse shows exist on an Earth where Superman has been around for 10+ years, Luthorcorp is a big player in the world, Argo City is floating around, and aliens are common knowledge and among them. Of course, whether or not the other shows will ever really get into this remains to be seen. It'd be nice to see more one-off episode crossovers though, or just the occasional cross-cameo, now that there's no need to find a reason for certain characters to be crossing Earths to hang out.

Ive really given up on CW DC, except casually watching Flash still. This would be a good chance for a new direction for the shows. New shows, new heroes, and hopefully a new writers room that focuses on story over pushed ideological nonsense. So much potential.

Part 4 is still the best for me then 5, 1 and then 2. They really pulled it together in these last hour and just when you thought the cameos couldn't get any better they pulled a fast one on us 😲

Post crisis CW will be so new and a bit weird. Like John and Lila have their pre-Flashpoint child and their post-Flashpoint child. Stargirl is now Earth-2 even though they could have just kept it Prime. I love the Justice League buildup though. But what happened to Jesse Quick and Flash-3? Did the old Earths-1 and 38, etc. have no dopplegangers before they fused into Earth Prime, because they can't afterwards.

I am glad Eatth-BEEBO made the cut. Don't overlook STAR GIRL which looks like it will be a must-watch show. Also DOOM Patrol was excellent and any person who appreciates Legends for its wacky plot is 'DOOMED" to like the PATROL!

It's the weirdest show but it's just so well made that it can do the most ridiculous things and you'll buy every second

Everyone that wasn't a paragon or given memory from Manhunter are different. Their reality is vastly different. I seen theories that iris will be very different and will cause problems with Barry.

Ugh, this crossover just didn't land it for me. There were so many great ideas, but I don't think think any of it was done well at all. It needed more time and focus. Loved the ideas and concept, but hated the execution.

noob question: with earth prime and literally ALL heroes combined on one earth, is there any threat that can keep up? The Spectre would need to turn evil and that would mean that the Presence aka literally god turned evil.

There’s plenty of them you have Darkseid, Imperiex, Sun Eaters, Mordru to start with plus the demons like Neron, The great evil beast and Trigon, they might even do doomsday clock and bring in Doctor Manhattan, there is plenty to go on yet.

personally I really enjoyed the crossover I loved the send off they gave oliver best send off I could have hoped for odds are we will see him again I hope. as far as Legends of Tomorrow go's I really liked the first couple of seasons then they made the show even more foolish then the flash which says a lot sara was my 3rd fave person out of all the shows so hopfully they make her more serious again

Okay I didn't like this final part much because certain things didn't make sense to me. I'm fine with Beebo because Legends, but why have Nate and Ava in this and have them do practically nothing over having Mia, William & Connor in? To me, it doesn't make sense plot-wise for the Monitor to bring them back from the future to then only have Mia involved in Crisis, and even then not have her involved in the final fight. And as I said, if it's a Legends episode give them a bit more to do and maybe have more of them in it - we had no Charlie, no Nora, no Mona, no Zari or her brother - that situation still needs fixing - and no Constantine after being in earlier parts. I guess it was okay considering the budget issues, but this wasn't my favourite crossover overall (even though it encouraged me to watch all 4 seasons of Lucifer in just over a week and I now love that show).
