Just seeing Sam Riegel's incredibly vulnerable and heartwarming video about his journey with cancer these last several months. What a day for us to randomly post a reaction to something CR related. We have nothing but so much love, respect, and admiration for this team of people and what they do has impacted our lives in such a positive and endless amount of ways. The passion they have for what they do is a constant inspiration in my life, but their friendship has been an even brighter light on this world and community. To the CR team, we appreciate what you do more than we could ever express. To Sam, your courage and strength is something to be cherished and honored to an unfathomable amount. To those reading this, please be sure to take a moment to watch his video. He not only shares what he's been going through, but also the importance of listening to your body and reaching out when you feel something may be wrong. 🖤🖤🖤

Sam said last year in an interview that they want 5 seasons total. 2 for the Chroma Conclave, 1 for the Daring year, and one for... the end

Exactly the same. I love watching the Mighty Nein and Bell’s Hells, but Vox Machina has my heart. It’s going to be a rollercoaster going into this next season or two… Huge hugs back to you!

Scanlan in those last few episodes, especially the counterspell and the wedding, we're absolute fire. I'm also missing Victor and J'amon Sa Ord, so I hope they get them in there somewhere before the end.

Oh no... will Sam still be able to voice Nott after what he just went through? I didn't even consider that until I read your comment. Nott's voice may be outside his vocal range now...

@@dm_dude Yeah, but I'm a little afraid that Sam won't be able to go high enough to properly voice Nott. Sam set a very unique voice at a very high range for Nott and I'm just afraid that it won't sound the same in the Animated Series. We'll have to see. On the other hand, there is a very real possibility that Sam recorded most of, if not all of, his lines for Mighty Nein Season 1 before going under the knife.

@@ForeverDegenerate A legitimate concern but I choose to be hopeful. If Sam can beat cancer then I believe he can beat this challenge and knock it out of the park.

@@ForeverDegenerateSam was pictured in the booth with the group for the announcement they were recording for the Nein. Though the timeline is a bit unclear as that was only posted at the start of June and I cant imagine he would be doing VO work soon after surgery. Very likely that they worked to get Notts lines all done before hand, its grim to think about but it could have been Sams last VA role ever... Glad he's still with us, and if thr beloved goblins iconic screechy voice is bit differnet that's a small price to pay.

Seasons 4 and 5 for LoVM are listed as "in development" on the Screen Actors Guild website (along with s2 of Mighty Nein!). Development is still the early days of production though, so it could be cancelled at that stage with little loss to overlord amzon, but we know 5 is what the plan is for!

It's been confirmed that season 4 is in production, and I've seen some sources stating that, per casting calls, season 5 is being worked on as well.

I finally started watching Vox Machina, partially so I could watch your reactions to it. Everyone else I knew had already seen it. It was just one of those things in my back log. So glad I did and I'm so excited for the new season! I'm now working through Critical Roll on my work commute.

Kat "Why do I get soo emotional?" I ask myself that question all the time when watching this show. I can only assume it is because we know the people behind the animated series. We as fans of Critical Role have that personal connection to these characters and the players in a way we don't get from other shows. On top of the show being fantastic it's easy to see why we get soo emotional. 💙

Definitely not the last season. They're going to finish c1 for sure. Betting it'll be a staggered release for c1 and c2 since they don't overlap that much. This season will finish the the CC arc and I bet they end it on a big Scanlan moment (iykyk) and maybe even a vision through an arrow. S4 will be Tary and end w/ a fade to black and a quiet "Where's Vax?" from the darkness. Sidenote, ya'll looking spicy this season too ;)

There WILL DEFINITELY be a S4 and possibly S5 for VM, this season will probably finish with the Chroma Conclave, BUT they have much more to do, including beating their BBEG(NOT THE DRAGONS)

Matt said he thinks that VM's entire campaign can be done 5 seasons and I hope they get to do all of them....and then move on to Bells Hells since that's such a good extension of VM. Also, I will freaking cry if we don't see them, especially Pate and Laudna, and then Keyleth years later, animated!

This won't be the last season. I think at minimum they'll be 2 more seasons after this. The other animated series can be released at the same time. It's years later on a different part of the world and they specifically avoided Vox Machina spoilers during that campaign

If you're going to start getting angsty about age differences, I'm older than the two of you added together. Saved by the Bell was not on my generations viewing list. Been watching the Doctor since the Pertwee era though and saw the original run of TOS.
