THE SUBSTRATE
Prepping the surface of the countertops is easy. Most surfaces just need to be sanded (80-100 Grit) then wiped clean. Granite and Marble will need the sealer removed. Tile will need the grout lines filled with Bondo and sanded smooth before applying our Countertop Kits.
How To Plastic Off A Kitchen Prior To Install : • How To Plastic Off You...
How To Prep Countertops: • How To Prep Countertop...
EPOXY PRIMER COAT
Priming the Countertops is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured primer then dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the countertop surface is completely covered. Wait 1 hr. (or until tacky and not coming off to the touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
METALLIC EPOXY COAT
There are so many different applications for our metallic epoxy coat. In this video, we show you the dirty pour technique. When you place your order you'll receive step by step tutorial videos that will show you how to apply this part depending on the look you're going for!
HIGH WEAR TOP COAT
We offer 2 different Performance Engineered Top Coats. Glaze Coat is our High Build Top Coat that lays out like glass and adds depth to the Countertop. The Urethane Top Coat comes with the option to have a High Gloss or Matte finish. It needs to be rolled out super thin and leaves a minor texture on the countertop. You apply it within 24 hrs. of installing your Countertop Kit
How To Apply WB Urethane Top Coat: • Learn How To Mix & App...
Leggari Countertop Kits were designed to transform your countertop, tabletop, or desktop into something new and beautiful by coating your existing countertop or pre-built wood countertop. They can be installed in 3 to 5 hrs. including the prep work, and will last for decades. If you can paint your countertops, you’re more than qualified to install a Leggari Countertop Kit. Our Countertop system is leading the resin industry for thickness, durability, and scratch resistance with our High Wear Top Coats.

I am going to try this, I can see the start of a new company. I have several rental homes I can practice on. Several years ago I opened a Bar with a friend I still laugh when I remember the to of us sealing the bar top with resin when we had trouble with air bubbles. We called the manufacturer for help and was told to heat it with a torch. We were so nervous expecting the epoxy to burst into flames. It was so nice when we were done.

Even though my laminate counter tops (refurbished by previous owners) are less than 7 yrs old, they're a speckled white/grey/beige and tend to discolour and scratch easily. Real marble, granite or terrazzo is simply way out of my budget range but the sheer beauty and DIY option you've shown here has given me renewed hope that I probably can upgrade my kitchen one day. Thanks for sharing all the tips n tricks with us in your demo. It was extremely entertaining for a DIY video 👍😊

You won’t regret it! I did my kitchen floor myself. Cost me about $3500 (I messed up a little section the first time, so it was a little more costly). Who puts a hot pot on a countertop whether epoxy, wood, granite, quartz, marble or otherwise? It does not have to be expensive to be treated with care ... it just have to be yours coupled with the time, money and pride you have for the things you worked hard to acquire. FANTASTIC job guys!!

My fourth time watching this. I am getting ready to do my countertops, although I have worked with epoxy resin many times I have never done a project as large as what I am getting ready to do. I did change colors slightly I am using metallic black, metallic bronze, and metallic turquiose. Instead of the gold I am going to try silver. My first step is a using a wooden TV tray as my sample board. If I don't completly screw this up I will post a photo of the sample board in the reply section of this post.

Will you ??🤔 It has a beautiful earthly blend, that adds character to the kitchen with the elegant and enhanced flow of vigorously moving colors. 👉 It's beautiful ! It's beautiful ! It's beautiful and it's true ! When I saw that look, it only makes me want to try ...to see how I will apply. So as to challenge myself with something different. 🙏😊👌👍❤ the look . Absolutely inviting spending more time in the kitchen to cook . Great job well done.

This is for the guy that did the work on the counters: Man you are good those counters are looking so awesome, if this was marble or granite you would be spending $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 possibly more, and just as expensive if it was man made like Caesarstone or Silestone. Bravo great work. This probably is DIY project that require a certain level of skill and a good eye for colors and mixing them. If you were to try doing this my advice is look at pictures of difference stone or better go a stone supplier and look at slabs that are 4’+ wide by 8’+ long take photos so you can study, observe how the veins the lines flow do a few drawings so when you are doing it you have a better chance of giving it a natural look. I did a lot of faux finishes on walls floors ceilings furniture and objects and prep work always included doing research, it always makes the work easier and fun. Once again Kudo to the people that put that kit for counter makeover and for the guys doing the demonstration.

When I saw that the video was almost an hour-long, I thought that I would be skipping to the next. I've used epoxy in the past but not in this way. I must say I'm very impressed! It looks easy to do and the effects could be endless. They did a beautiful job on those countertops. The only thing I would be concerned with is the waste. All of the stuff running and dripping down the sides. I'm sure the product is pricey. I can't wait to try it out!
