A kind elderly woman named Gladys (Jeanette Miller) surprises everyone at the diner when she violenty bites Howard (Jon Tenney) in the neck and crawls up the wall.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Scott Stewart's supernatural thriller Legion, scripted by Peter Schink, concerns a group of strangers in an out-of-the-way eatery who become the first line of defense when God, believing the human race is no longer worthy of Him, decides to end their existence. This motley crew's only spiritual ally is the archangel Michael, played by Paul Bettany. Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Charles S. Dutton, and Lucas Black co-star in the Screen Gems production.

I remember when the film came out. They were advertising it like crazy and making it sound like the greatest movie to come out in a decade. I even saw the film director being so proud at his new interpretation of the angels of heaven. Now they were Zombie Angels. And you know what? I kinda bought it. People were so enthusiastic about the movie I went with the flow, and was scared by it. Looking back I can't help but laugh at my younger self.

They already tried to make a TV show expanding the story (aka Dominion from Syfy) but it got cancelled after two seasons. It was great but the network just didn't care enough about the franchise.
