This is one of the reasons I want to get LEGO Dimensions. I love Doctor Who so much.

What would a LEGO Doctor Who game do for an actual story? Displace the Doctors and pair them up with different companions through the franchise history, perhaps. Jump starting a huge adventure across time and space because there is something preventing them from simply reuniting with the respective companions. That could be an element, not sure what a story could be. I'd love to see a council of Masters plotting the demise of the Doctors though.

That Davros registers the Twelfth Doctor's new face seems to indicate "Dalek Extermination" might be set before "The Magician's Apprentice", yet we could also infer that he's referencing his line of dialogue in "TMA" about "approving of [the Doctor's] new face" here, meaning that "DE" in fact takes place after "The Witch's Familiar" (though whether TT Games would've been privy to Moffat's scripts for Season Nine's opening two-parter, I'm not entirely sure. Kudos to them for recruiting the magnificent Julian Bleach into the 'Dimensions' voice cast, regardless!). Further evidence of this theory comes with the Doctor's arrival on Skaro towards the level's end, at which point he notes that the planet was "in ruins" upon his most recent visit. Whether he's referring to the wrecked landscape featured in the opening shot of 2012's "Asylum of the Daleks" or the devastated citadel he and Clara left to rot in "The Witch's Familiar" can of course be debated to no end, but I'd be inclined to say that we're looking at a post-"TWF" tale here, and potentially a post-Season Nine tale too based on Clara's absence (and depending on whether the Doctor finds a new companion before season's end). As for the mysterious reappearance of Trenzalore, that's a boggling mystery which we fans have had to deal with since "The Time of the Doctor" neglected to explain how the events of "Name" could ever have happened with the Doctor's demise averted. Perhaps the graves we see in "Name" are of those who died in the years the Eleventh Doctor spent defending the village of Christmas and the Doctor's time-stream somehow detached from his body when he was gifted with a new set of regenerations? The reality, of course, is that this mini-episode of sorts will most likely be regarded as separate from the so-called official 'Who' canon by the majority of fans. However, the same could have been said of Big Finish's output until Moffat solidified their audio dramas' canonicity by referencing the Eighth Doctor's various companions in "The Night of the Doctor", so who's to say that "The Dalek Extermination of Earth" shouldn't be thought of as an official new adventure for the Twelfth, eh?

The story mode for a standalone Lego Doctor Who game let's you relived the stories from all of the Doctor's incarnations, from the Unearthly Child to the War Games and from the Spearhead from Space to the Logopolis and so on and so forth.

There's something smugly amusing about the doctor fighting autons in a Lego game

I solved the puzzle ruined the last generator yesterday. Then saved in Trenzalore and shut down.. When I wanted to start playing today again, I cannot use the Tardis to get to Trenzalore. WHat is worse is that force field in central london is back, but the generator & puzzle is not. I.e. I cannot "destroy" the genrator again, cannot pass the force field, and cannot travel with Tardis to Trenzalore(the tranzalore options they are locked again with the lock pad even though I played parts of it yesterday). In summary: 100% stuck. ANybody else have this problem? ANy solutions?

@packattack04082 you missed the Clara rescue and a ton of minikits-do you not have a figure/build that shoots water? In 2015 (the first time) to the left of the tardis dock there's a plant to water which will help you find Clara, and on Skarro right after you descend from the elevator if you put out the fire you can use that Tardis dock to visit U.N.I.T. where there's a handful of minikits, Missy, and Kate Lethbridge-Stewart.
