but on the other hand seems devs in general have run out of artistic ideas to make new characters or models for anything these days (or just plain lazy and feeding off somebody else' effort/work)

@@ratchetqwark89 indie creators are a lot smaller than things like Activision or something. A lot of the times they have to take shortcuts like that because they don't have the resources or manpower to do everything. Especially making assests for an entire game if you only have one modeller would take ages and cost a ton.

@@ratchetqwark89 That couldnt be further from the truth.. Its hard to make 100+ good quality meshes + all the materials for them, if you're a 1 man indie dev. Furthermore, its in no way "lazy and feeding off someone elses work", you do know these assets are uploaded INTENTIONALLY for free use in commercial projects for the literal purpose of being nice and promoting their work? And the absolute top quality stuff is sold as asset packs... As in literally within the GUI of Unity or Unreal engine.... Built into the program itself.. People literally make a living making good quality stuff and having indie devs buy them. It means YOU and I can get 1-man indie games that look like high quality work, THANKS to the artists that created said assets and sold them and could pay their rent by the indie dev buying them. Otherwise we'd just have endless 1-man indie games with placeholder grey boxes. So i dont see how that is "lazy and feeding off someone elses work"? It's the same exact thing as saying everyone at Yogscast are lazy and feeding off someone elses work, because they have art, logos, video thumbnails created by someone else..

you have your mouse sensitivity too high. everytime you click the mouse it moves your view, when you spam click it shakes it.......
