This time we won't talk about using the touchscreen to control our models but the actual physical lego powered up remote control (88010). Keep in mind that the app still has to be running in the background. The same trick can be used to use more than one hub in one program.

first thank you for all tutorial ! very very usefull for a beginner like me ! I have a question (I don't know on wich video asking that !), how many hubs can we connect at the same smartphone/tablet ? I read 4 ... can you confirm ? Can I connect 4 hubs of the same type ? like 4 train hubs ... example, can I make a program with 2 or 3 hubs on the same train (and then program the same speed, stop at the same time etc ... ) ? thanx :)

Thank you for your feedback :) Yes, you can connect up to 4 hubs to one smartphone (including all the remotes that you want to use)

@@technicmaster0tutorials you're welcome, and thanx to you :) great to know ! they will always have the same number (or letters) ? or if I turn off and be back the day after, the 1 became 2 etc ... ? must I turn on the hubs in the same order for that ? (sorry for my question, I cannot try here right now ...)
@technicmaster0tutorials

The order depends on the order of connection (first hub you connect is 1, second is 2 etc). But you can always rearrange them in the menu. It might make sense to rename them to something that contains the number (e.g. hub1, hub2 etc) if you don't want to keep track of that. That way you can connect them all at one and then order them by name.

Hello and thank you for the helpful tutorials. I try to follow the instructions, but I dont get the numbers in the interface when I press the buttons of the remote control and I also do no have any items in the white folder as shown in your video. Do you have an idea where the problem is?

There are different "difficulty settings" in the app. Make sure that you can see all of the blocks

i have a 88010 and a 88012 like you: i can't make these work together. If i put the 88010 to the top of the list, only that will work. I if put the 88012 to the top of the list, only that work. The two together never. It is the Powered up app which looks totally different than this. The boost app does not seen to support the 88010. Can you please suggest?

Hello, it’s possible to connect up to 3 powered up remote control to one 6 ports hub? So with one control manage 2 ports each

I've got everything right as far as making the remote give a value and they are in the correct order in the hub screen but my hub screen is not showing numbers like yours. When I use the white hub block and select 02 it's not picking up the truck body hub I'm using to build with

hi, i recently discovered pybricks so now i programmed the hub directly to use the remote without the use of the lego app.

Hi! Great content. I have Lego sets no. 88010 (Remote Control) and no. 88006 (Move Hub) and I have a problem configuring them to run simultaneously within the "Power Up" Android App. I was able to pair them with a mobile device and the application sees them both. The problem is that the only first device on the Bluetooth list is responsive to commands. For example, if I set Hub as the first device motors will rotate according to the code blocks but pushing remote controller buttons will not take any effects. If The Remote Controller is first on the list (I can manage which should be first by drag and drop) code blocks will show that the button is pressed but motors will be stopped and irresponsive. Both devices are green on the list inside the app. Do you think Is it possible to fix it somehow? On your video everything working great.

Did you use the white blocks as input for the ports? There you can select port+hub
