A small LEGO racing game that I made in Unity for the "LEGO Ideas - Build your own game" contest using the LEGO Microgame template. Contest entry on LEGO Ideas: ideas.lego.com/challenges/681...
In this racing game, you can choose one out of twelve different racing cars and try to overtake the AI-controlled opponents. The track is located in a landscape with hills, mountains and ... sheep!
I built the LEGO models in BrickLink Studio. After importing them into the Unity LEGO Microgame, I implemented the controls and car physics, including air resistance, rolling resistance and lateral friction forces. In order to increase performance, I created my own material resembling LEGO 2x2 tiles for the road. The blue and red items (which give you a speed boost or slow you down) and the sheep were created using Behaviour Bricks.
Controls:
WASD = control your car
Move mouse = rotate camera
R = reset car

Download PC light version (better performance, but lower graphics quality and only 6 cars): drive.google.com/file/d/1ZjSR...
Play online version: play.unity.com/mg/lego/lego-r...
I highly recommend using the PC version because both performance and graphics are much better than in the online version!
