Finally, I've waited so long for the Ghost to be on sale. That being said, the Emperor's Throne Room diorama has already been on sale on Amazon for $80 for over a month now so very generous of Lego to bring it down to $85 lol

The first combo with the ghost you talk about was exactly the 3 sets I was planning on doing 😂

Lego didn't do the 4x points, they offered money off the products that were meant to have the 4x points - so I got £145 off the AT AT - which (I think) is a better deal financially than points.

They actually told us they didnt have any left when we got to the cash, but the smile on the employees face when she came back and told us how lucky we were was a amazing! I still don’t understand how the droid carrier promo is not a set. These would’ve flown off shelves and Lego would’ve made a killing!

Been waiting for this to get my UCS Venator and I got to say I'm not as disappointed about the vip points as I am the promo sets. Don't get me wrong they're nice sets but last year I was so excited about the Mini death star, its such a nice display piece to have on my desk, but this year to spend $650 for a set that's not on sale and the promos are a mini tank(which I am excited about) and a simple droid carrier that has no minifigures other than the droid I already have 50 of that should have just been an army builder set.

My lego combo I did was Mos espa pod race scene and darth maul sith infutrator with comander cody brickheadz. But I decided to get the BARC speeder escape set also so i got all 3 promos this year

You can get the 25 keyring at Argos in the UK for £5, or it's free with certain sets, 25% discounts on some of them.

I plan on making two purchases, 1 in store and 1 online; looking at picking up the Tantive IV and Millennium Falcon ships collections in one purchase; both of those will put you at the $160 mark. I recently visited Rwanda over the past 2 weeks and went to their memorial site in the city Kigali. For background info, in 1994, nearly 1,000,000 people were murdered in a genocide in 100 days. Now, Rwanda is one of the most safest and stable places in all of Africa, but coming back home I feel like I can't just not mention my experience. As you are an influencer, I would urge you, in some way, to take action and spread awareness of this. The pricing being just short of the actual promo price (like 1 cent) didn't usually give that promo online.. So if that changed, that would be something worthy of mentioning indeed.. In stores though.. Even if you're 1 or 2 dollars (or euro's depending on your location of purchase), with the right employee you'ld still get it.. Also if you have the possibility to go to a store yourself, please do, it's really fun and most employees really do love to talk to you about what they love as well.. Ad to that the fact that they always have multiple sets built and on display for you to see and it becomes more of an actual event to go there than just another shop visit..

For the price round up for promos, in store I have been told that if you are within a $5 range they can typically bypass the threshold.

love the content, been watching for a couple of years. I noticed that the Darth Maul bust behind you is missing some horns on the left, but then I realized that it might be glare from your lights. Maybe repositioning your lights will help reduce that- if it's even something you care about lol

There are notable differences with the regions, as was the case last time. Seems in Europe we will have the UCS Landspeeder with 20% off, par example, as well as Yavin 4. On the other hand we did NOT get the 30% Razor Crest discount a few months ago, so it might be included in double points over here.

I wish LEGO would do more Star Wars sets that were less focused on the "wars" part with the starships and battle packs, but put out like Dexter's Diner sets or Watto's shop or the Kamino hallway or something. Hot take: I kinda feel like they should've switched the Droid carrier set and tantive set with fives, so the droid carrier would be a normal set and the tantive set would be a gwp. This would make it easier to army build with the droid carrier and would make the fives figure more exclusive

Ask MandR: Is there a part of you that ever considers not releasing a review early (like the Tie Interceptor) so that you get the build experience? With a set like this one will you buy an additional one so that you can have the build experience yourself?

If you’re in store they’ll almost always, at least in my experience, give you the promo even if you’re a few cents off. I think there was one time my friend got a promo when they were $1 off but they were probably just lucky.

Do you personally think Chewbacca is worth it with the sale? Or do you think it’s worth playing the waiting game to see if there’ll be a better sale and/or discontinued price? You’re killing it with these quick reviews dude, I love watching you and your unashamed call outs when Lego drops the quality ball!
