The Vancouver Canucks defeated the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in Game 3 of their 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs series, with goals scored by Mattias Ekholm, Elias Lindholm, Brock Boeser, Leon Draisaitl, and Evan Bouchard. Arturs Silovs beats Stuart Skinner in net.

oilers outplayed the canucks by hitting 5 post and outshooting them 45-18 but thanks to the brick wall goaltender which is playing fantastic this series... game would’ve went both ways if the calls were right plus both teams wins are by 1. great series so far tho & refs are questionable.

What a game for the Canucks. Lindholm and Zadorov trades paying off big in 2024 playoffs. Lindholm and Zadorov agents are laughing going into the summer. Boeser putting up huge goals in the playoffs. There’s a lot of talk about whether Soucy, Zadorov, or McDavid will get a suspension for the fight after the buzzer. Many expect McDavid to be immune as the NHL’s golden boy. I am glad the Canucks won.

As a Vancouverite, I am not suggesting anything malicious or illegal but maybe someone should abduct that Ian Cole and tie him up somewhere till the Canucks (hopefully) win the Cup or at least finished with the season. We are leading in the series but it's just isn't fair playing 5 against 7.

I just hope my prediction of a Van/Rangers Stanly Cup Finals with Vancouver winning comes true. 30 years since they lost to the Rangers in 94, it be the best revenge. With that said a lot of Vancouver fans were giving up on them after game 2, but I still have faith in them to beat the Oilers even if they take it to a game 7.

I've been saying at the start of this serie that Canucks only hope to beat the Oilers is if Zadorov, Myers and C. Soucy prevent Mcdavid and Draisaitl off the scoresheet. Skinner is also allowing bad goals

Wish the Oilers throw some more body checks, gets tiring watching them wear themselves out by constantly taking hits, not putting enough pressure on opposing teams. Guess all of that energy got vented out at their last game against Calgary...Nurse needs to step it up if he's to prove himself worthy of the 9.2 mill/ per year contract, really painful seeing him on the ice for practically every goal in the First game...anyways Sharks fan here, rough season again, hope they make it past bottom 5 next year.

Bad goaltending is costing the Oilers and great goaltending and some lucky posts won it for the Canucks. 45-18 in shots, no way Canucks derserve or should of won this game.

It's the same way the Oilers beat the Kings with 13 shots, or the Canucks beating the Preds with 12. Defense & defensive structure will always trump over offence. Doesn't hurt to have a great goaltending performance.

5 Goalposts, 1 Goal called back that crossed the line, Ryan stick held in crease...NO CALL???? Draisaitl's lower back targeted by Miller and Company AGAIN...NO CALL...BUT do call Draisaitl for intereference and Nurse for the softest cross check you will ever see?.....This is disgusting to watch Zadorov should be automatically SUSPENDED for Crosschecking McDavid AFTER the game ended....If not the Oilers have no choice bit to start targeting Hughs, Silovs and Pteys lower backs. Enough is enough...the league seems fine with tocchets Garbage Goon tactics. ...this is terrible for hockey and an insult to the game. THIS can't possibly be what the NHL wants to sell as a product.
