I bought Rey's Hasbro saber last year when Hasbro had a sale through their eBay store and it was $200 shipped. I think it looks better than the Disney one as well as most of the other replicas, so I am happy with it.

Nothing from Disney/Hasbro is going to be better than other light saber specific companies. They have to mass-produce them for thousands of people and make them affordable. This makes for a cheap light saber with little and cheap FX. 4:28

I mean, you knew what you were getting so at least there's no letdown on the electronics, lol. But for as bad as that is the hilt is still nice and there's things going on with it that are cool. Just funny that the one that's closest to the best for spinning/dueling has the absolute worst electronics, lol. But it wouldn't be bad if the other companies took note of there being an interest in extra parts offered that change the quality of these in certain aspects.

Love your reviews. I think you put it as it is: this is more a collectible/replica piece as you pointed out. While it has limited features, at the end it's more like an extra than the main point of it.

The cheap Aliexpress Sabers have more features and cheaper. The Xone 3 and V4 boards have more features, and with Pixel blades more colours and brighter. The Force FX blades are old tech and things have come a long way since

I'm sorry. Not impressed. I don't get why the cheapest Neopixel from China is still so much better than official lightsabers like this one. So disappointing. They're expensive, run with batteries (I mean wtf?), and blade effects not very impressive either. No color change, no soundfont change - I get why. No gesture controls, no smooth swing, no volume adjustment. No reason for me to buy it. Try harder Hasbro.

As a display piece, it's beautiful. If the TXQ or LGT Leia saber was the same price then I'd definitely replace the Force FX in a heartbeat.

The best price for the TXQ version of this is $445CDN. Quite the difference in price. My wife wanted a Leia hilt so I got it for her. It's just for display to sit with her father (Anakin EP3) and brother's (Luke EP6) sabers.
