Sora having a breakdown at the Keyblade Graveyard is probably my favorite scene in the game. Really shows how his happy-go-lucky self is a bit of a mask to hide his lack of self-worth when he's alone. It's honestly really relatable. I hope we get to see more of this side in KH4, tbh. Awesome work as always Leigh!

Kh3 really holds a special in my heart. It has it's flaws, but almost 2 decades of gaming and growing up with the series and it delivered spectacularly.

I know we still have Re:Mind and Melody of Memory, but, this has been such an amazing journey. All the videos have made me love Kingdom Hearts even more than I did back in the day as an awkward teenager. This whole franchise really is an emotional rollercoaster. Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your experience and your community Leigh. :)

I love how Young Xehanort got absolutely no redemption to the very end

I contemplated whether to comment or not, but I felt like I had to say, out of everyone I've seen play Kingdom Hearts, it's really sweet to see just how emotionally invested you get with the characters and what they go through. It's genuinely so incredible to see that no matter when someone plays Kingdom Hearts, it can make such an impact. It's been such an emotional rollercoaster with many laughs and many, many tears and I'm glad to have been along for the ride.

The more I play kh or watch videos on kh, the more I appreciate it. I wish I could play through the series again for the first time.

Thank you for making all of these, you'll never know what they really mean to me, it's easy to find people that love KH as much as or more than me, but it's difficult to find people that have the same real emotional reactions to the series that I do, it's nice to not feel alone with my emotions for once, I appreciate you

As someone who has been with this series since its inception and growing with it as each new game came out, it always brings me so much joy to see others play through it and to witness their reactions. And I have to say Leigh, thank you for doing all this. It must have been really hard and time consuming to edit all the footage, not only for this video, but for ALL of your previous journeys. This has really been an exciting and enjoyable experience. I've been filled with so much emotion, from laughing, to celebrating, and even crying, to also just smiling as memories from my own experiences of playing the games flood my brain and thoughts while I watch your videos. I'm so glad that KZfaq actually recommended your first KH video to me as I've become a fan since then and can only wait to see what's waiting in the future.

KH3 is one of the most epic things I've ever perceived, and my first time experiencing it was through your streams. No regrets whatsoever that I didn't play it first! Okay personally I was disappointed by kh3 in many ways, but seeing you so tearfully joyful at everything gives me life. You reminded me what child-like joy feels like. I appreciate the hard work that went in this game, even if the direction wasn’t what I anticipated. Seeing that it brought people so much happiness soothes the heart.

I just love how through all these convoluted conceptual things as hearts souls and bodies there's still a coherent artistic expression of what Heaven is - Kingdom hearts - because our Hearts are immutable and never fades so they need a place where all hearts locate when their bodies and souls are separated. Our hearts being the connections we forged and the ideals we hold, which transcends our physical forms and even our own minds/souls. Unironically this franchise is an awesome fictional depiction of the human condition, while being entertainment, so the story winds through highs and lows of light and dark, of sadness and happiness.

Something I adore about KH playthroughs/reactions is watching other people fall in love with a series that's been so special and formative to me since my early teen years. Seeing other people laugh, weep, and suffer deep exasperation with this franchise brings out those feelings I had first playing through the series. Your reactions throughout these games have been so heartfelt, so honest and beautiful. You show such open appreciation for the characters and stories, for the music and the settings. It's beautiful to watch and it's been an honor and a pleasure.

So in that secret ending, Sora woke up in Shibuya, in the middle of Scramble Crossing. Likely the Shibuya from The World Ends With You, if the 104 building is any indication. In the Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer, Strelitzia says that Sora's been asleep for seven days, which is the same length of time as the Reapers' Game in TWEWY. Food for thought.

Out of all the surprises in this game, my personal favorite is Donald being one of the most powerful magic users in all of Squarenix, period. The spell he used, Zettaflare, has only been shown on screen used by two other characters. And both are "final boss" characters. One is a character in Bravely Default, which I'm not familiar with, but they state the spell can destroy universes. The other is Bahamut in FF14. In that games lore Bahamut destroys the world using the spell Terraflare, thus causing the Calamity which is the in lore explanation for FF14 complete reboot as an MMO. During a special event Bahamut uses Zettaflare. To put in perspective, using mathematical terms, we'll use the base spell Flare as an example. Flare is the base. Next level beyond would be MegaFlare, GigaFlare, then TeraFlare. If they existed the following spells would be Peta-, Exa-, and then Zetta. Roughly equal power, using the 1000 times multiplier, of one sextillion Flares, which would be written out as a one followed by 21 zeros. When compared to the Terraflare which Bahamut used, it is 1 billion times stronger.

The song that played in the secret episode with Yozora is called Beloved Somnus. Somnus plays when yozora is on screen, and it changes to dearly beloved when the master of masters is on screen making the heart shape in front of the moon.

The worst thing about the Final World is that everyone there is being kept there by someone. The woman who searchs for her child is being held on by it. The master who taught his pupil everything they knew is being held on by them. The little child who wants to seek her Papa is being held on by him.

Kingdom hearts was my first video game I ever played and I grew up with this series, watching you play through them made me feel like I was playing them for my first time again I can't thank you enough for all the work you put into these videos and letting me feel like a little kid again.

Leonard Nimoy did such an awesome job voicing Original Xehanort in the past games... Birth by Sleep, Dream Drop Distance... Too bad he passed away before this game's completion. Oddly enough, the voice actor who voiced Xehanort in the main game of Kingdom Hearts 3 also died shortly after they finished making the game. For the download content, they needed another voice and Christopher Lloyd stepped in! Christopher Lloyd also does an awesome job voice acting Xehanort's role. They really should have had him voice Xehanort in the main game to begin with.

(My bad for the long comment) I like that you are taking a liking to Saix. He is one my favorite characters in the series and his ending in 3 hurts. In KH2 he says "Do you know what happens to those who lose their true purpose? Inevitably, they destroy themselves". It hurts so much when he says "I lost all sense of purpose" in 3, because you realized he was talking about himself. There is also a theory that says the scar was self inflicted all because he felt alone and abandoned. SAIX IS GREAT!

So good to hear you followed the progress of Versus XIII. Nomura says that it is a heartbreak for him that the original vision was lost. The Heart of what he was creating was changed. Just like what the nameless star said. She said that they changed 'Him' beyond all recognition. His heart replaced with another. Kind of like how the original design for Noctis was replaced with what FF XV became. Also remember, Verum Rex means the True King. Referring to Yozora, the night sky. Nomura is definitely telling square that they messed up his baby so he'll do it himself.

As someone who has played all the KH games (except the mobile one and melody of memories), I always thought of these games as "the Disney/ Final Fantasy crossover with the really silly convoluted plot, but great combat and soundtrack", but as I watched all of your videos, I got more invested in the story and the characters than I ever did through my own playthrough because of how deeply invested you were. It made me appreciate that, its not necessarily about just the convoluted story, but equally as much about the characters in it, and that even if the story is a bit all over the place, the characters themselves are actually really easy to understand and relate too. I even teared up a few times watching you play this, so thank you for showing me a truly special side of these games that I never seen myself. I really enjoyed your entire KH adventure. And good luck in Remind!

If there's one thing I can praise Kingdom Hearts III for: after going through all the material leading up to it (KH1, CoM, KH2, 358/2 Days, BBS, re:Coded, DDD, and a Fragmentary Passage), it is an utter masterpiece of *emotional catharsis*.

I adore the way the sea salt trio hug when they reunite. It screams Axel and his two adoptive children and I love that for them.

It's been a while since I played Kingdom hearts 3 and seeing you play it made me relive all of the emotions I had while playing it too. I love kingdom hearts and so glad to see another person shares the same heart felt emotions that I do for the series. The Final World was actually planned for the first game, specifically when Sora was a Shadow. The last time Saix and Roxas fought, neither of them were at their best (no berserking, half of his strength in Xion's hands). Scala ad Caelum is the Unfinished Battle of this game, both songs composed by Yoko Shimomura. It's worth noting that Zetta (not Tera) Flare has previously been exclusively used by bosses who had transformed/possessed world ending power. Donald, being able to cast it without transforming, is apparently the most powerful black mage in Square history.

There are so many amazing and epic moments in this finale, and seeing your reaction to them brought my own memories back. Aqua falling to darkness, then being saved by Sora Aqua vs Vanitas, and Ven finally waking up The 10,000 Heartless battle The failed first attempt to fight the Organization The Final World and the stars The return of the Lingering Will Ephemer and the Union members aiding Sora Every single fight with the Organization Roxas's return, Xion's return, Terra's return Scala ad Caelum and the final battle with Xehanort with the addition of ReMind, I literally could not have asked for a better end to this part of the series

Shoutout to this having been legitimately one of the best playthrough experiences I have ever seen from anyone. Thanks for recording your emotional journey Leigh, it's been a blast 😁

I wanted to say... What a journey. I wasn't there for the start, nor was I there for the stream. I started with watching your kingdom hearts 2 video which , funny enough, was also the first game in the series that I came in touch. Seeing your react, your pain, the sadness, the laugh all of it made me remember when I just a young boy watching someone play this game and wishing I could too and experience it myself. Even when I didn't know anything KH1, I still cry a lot. Watching it your video made me so happy and I always go back to it when i feel down or just need to cry a little. After that i watch the 358/2 days and oh boy did i need tissue for the amount of tear had fall. It even push me to find myself a physical copy of the game and play it on my ds. I keep crying all the way through. Than came the birth by sleep video. One of my favourite in the series and the one I got attach the most due to Ven. Looking at it made so happy and i was always waiting for more. When I replay the game again, i put your video on the side since it was such a experience. than came the recoded video. While it's not the game I have the most connection to, you still made it look so fun and interesting. Than came DDD, first kingdom hearts game that I own. I know it's not the greatest to start with but I still loved it. It was fun to see the adventure or Sora and Stinky, and how you always liked to play Riku. It remind me of the first time I played it. Even when i didn't knew much of the series, it still left a impact on me. After that was the 2.8 game. One of the memories that i will always remember was that of me waiting patiently looking at the timer has midnight came closer and i could start playing. Like your playthrough it was astounding to see the graphic and how well the game look. i played it so many time, trying to get all the costume and even speedrunning it. It was a blast. Than was union x. This gacha was the first one i ever played. My phone wasn't the greatest at the time and was the only game that could run well. I use so much of my time on this game, and it may have started my addiction to gacha game but we dont talk about that. This game was also the main reason has to why I learn and speak english. This game made me try discord and help me interact with people making me try and learn english. i'm still so much grateful of this game and cry when it ended. I wouldnt be where I'm at today because of this game. And than... the fated Kingdom hearts 3. The reason why i bough a ps4. The game that I waited to play for so long. This game held my hearts hostage and made cry so much to get it back. So many tears had fallen. And even now. watching your journey through this game, I still cry looking at all the memories I had playing this game In the end, I just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing your journey through this series. all the cry, the laugh, the pain, how Roxas did nothing wrong and still get screw by the world. Wow, I just finished watching this video! Thank You, Leigh, for uploading these KH videos to KZfaq and sharing your journey with this series! I don't have a ton of experience with Twitch, but I imagine that editing those streams on Twitch for KZfaq could be very time consuming. A few weeks ago, Kingdom Hearts just randomly popped into my head for the first time in more than a year, so I just searched "Kingdom Hearts Playthrough" on KZfaq and chose to go with your video for KH 1. Maybe 20 Minutes into that video, I knew I was going to watch most of your "KH Journeys" because I really liked how you edited each playthrough down to a roughly 1 Hour video. I was 8 years old when KH 1 released, and back then, I thought it was so amazing to be able to visit so many Disney worlds all in 1 game! Even though I cared about that aspect more than the actual storyline of KH 1, the ending of KH 1 in particular still stuck with me a lot growing up (Especially the completed drawing on the cave wall that showed Sora and Kairi sharing Paopu Fruit). When KH 2 came out, I didn't even come close to finishing it because I think I had this impression that the Disney aspects of KH weren't as much of a focal point like they were in KH 1. I think at age 12 (my age when KH 2 came out), I was thrown off by the first couple hours since I wasn't playing as Sora and wasn't immediately exploring Disney worlds. 358/2 Days and Birth By Sleep both came out when I was in High School, but by that point, I had kinda moved on from KH, and I didn't learn much about the characters introduced in those games until a few years after they came out. Even after High School, I still had a lot of nostalgia for KH (Especially KH 1), so KH 3 was definitely on my radar when it came out. I watched an entire play through of it in 2019, but even in just the last 3 years, I had forgotten several big moments, so it was pretty exciting for me to experience the KH 3 story again through your Journey! When KH 3 came out, I know it was kind of a disappointment for a lot of fans because it didn't meet their high expectations (since it was in development for SO MANY YEARS). Yes, KH 3 had some plot issues, and similar complaints have been brought up for many prior KH games (Convoluted story, things not making logical sense, etc....). While I can understand those criticisms, KH still has a way of beautifully showing moments and interactions between characters (And the very pretty music is icing on the cake)! A great example of that in KH 3 is near the very end, when Eraqus's spirit comes back, and he walks over to Xehanort and calmly says "Enough" to him. Xehanort then hands Sora his Keyblade and says "Very Well Done". Eraqus catches Xehanort as he is falling over and asks Xehanort "Ready, My Friend?", and they leave the world together. An amazing scene! Thanks again, Leigh, for sharing your KH Journeys! It seemed VERY emotionally exhausting for you, but also a very special experience as well! 😊 Although I know almost nothing about KH 3- Remind DLC, I think I'll also watch your Journey with that in the near future! 😊 To anyone who takes the time to read this entire long ass comment, you deserve an award for your dedication....It's closer to a novel than a KZfaq comment....

Sora with Roxas and Xion. Roxas - Fighting off Isa and doing Damage. Xion - Running towards Sora staying by his side. Sora - gets hit to low HP Xion - Heals Sora Meanwhile Sora with Donald and goofy. Goofy - tries to protect sora but fails every time. Donald - Spamming thunder 24/7 as soon as he has MP. Sora - at low hp trying to survive and heal himself from taking all the hits and doing all the Damage. Sora - "DONALD HEAL ME!!!! " Donald - Uses Thunder again Sora - "DONALD I AM DYING!!!" Later on in the fight Sora heals himself to full health but then Donald comes up and also uses Cure. ...

Fun Fact: The spell "Zettaflare" Donald uses against Terra is said to be one of the strongest/most powerful spell in the Final Fantasy universe which would make Donald one of the if not most powerful character in the series.

I didn't think anyone would share the emotional connections I made to the characters like I did, because I literally cried when Terra revealed himself. He had it the roughest I think. His body was used against his will to hurt his friends and family, but he never gave up hope. His lingering will is amazing and I hope you play the DLC as well to find out what happens to Kairi. This game was a big part of my adolescence. Thank you again, for posting this!

Played kh 3 when It came out. Struggling on the last boss (playing on proud mode) in the dark with the volume off when I beat him, then my controller started yelling at me. Scared me so bad that I dropped it. I love kh so much because I've been playing the game since 2010. Used to stay up all night with my 5 other brothers taking turns fighting Spheroth. I miss those days. I hate knowing that I won't be able to feel that way again, but I can watch others enjoy them for the first time. Thanks for playing kh.

Honestly, I've been waiting ever so patiently for this video to come out. What a wild ride it's been and I'm so glad you've enjoyed your adventures through the many Kingdom Hearts games! Your reactions are always a joy and a sight to behold. Now, for Re:Mind!

It's still wild to me that that first go in the graveyard... they legit *did* lose, they all died.. Sora had to rewrite history itself to "fix" it.. like he broke the laws of the universe to make his friends not dead.. Also.. it's wild that majority of the organization was kinda.. polite in their passing? But like.. only ones not so nice were like Vanitas, who was literally born from darkness so doesn't have much to reconcile with, and Young Xehanort, who probably was dragged from some bad time in his life anyways and hasn't mellowed as much.. like everyone else was like "ah, fair you got me, peace"

54:37 I found this moment super sweet. I am sure Sora still only knows Xion as “that other girl” from Roxas’s memory but he was still very thankful and relieved when she reassured him.

The tragic irony is that Sora is the reason everybody else got their happy ending, and he’s the only one who didnt get his(well, aside from Kairi whise happy ending is to be with)
