Lemala Wildwaters Lodge is located on roughly six hectares on Kalagala Island and it lies on a unique private island mid-stream within the mighty River Nile in Uganda: around 25km downstream from Jinja in eastern Uganda. It’s in a sublime location and only reached by boat which makes it a very adventurous place to stay. It is uniquely perched on granite rocks with dramatic and exciting rapids roaring all around.

I have been there several times and it is definitely worth going but the best in Africa? Look at chale island, ngorongo and other places as they are also very beautiful. You can do some nice fishing at the waterfall if you are interested

Well noted. They were voted as the best back then but I guess right now they're other better lodges

don't get me wrong please it is a very nice and unique place and can be highly recommended but the rates are not affordable for most africans so it is mainly for foreign tourists. @@mytimelinekenya

Am not surprised that it's the most 'Instagramable' place in Africa from the views I have seen. Thumbs up to you for the very nature of your shots, the drone actually crowned it all. Such astounding beauty in the Nile, in our backyard and someone chooses to fly to other destinations when nature is at its intact there. Ahsante sana brother. Kazi nzuri sana ulio ifanya.
