EXACTLY. None of the folks who cover it ever bring it to that emotional crescendo, but she blows the roof off with it.

I'd honestly say that the emotion here isn't genuine, though. It's that theatrical type of energy, which by its very nature is over the top and fake. Theater and Broadway don't feel real, they feel like a performance. Whereas when you listen to Radiohead, it doesn't feel like a performance, it feels very real. Emotional.

Most of the girls would sound like a screaming cat if they try to sing the high note. It wouldn't sound pleasant. Because they started singing it in a high key already... But this one, she sang it in a low key.. Of course she's gonna hit the high note.

There's a Radiohead song you (presumably) like. You like it so much you went out of your way to find a cover version of it. You found this one and listened to it, deciding you don't like it. That's all totally fine so far! Not enjoying something subjective, like a piece of art such as this is always valid. But man oh man is that comment shitty! A bunch of smart, talented people worked really hard on this little video. Obviously we're ALLOWED to not like things and obviously KZfaq comments are known to be a wasteland of dumb bullshit, but MAN this one rubbed me the wrong way. I think specifically it's because like... The video is clearly well produced, the singer and the band performed well on a technical AND artistic level, and basically every other comment on the video is either very positive or at least offering constructive criticism.
